Carrer Olivella, 12 - I’ll be attending you and other guests at our place La Espontánea.
While you will take position, I’ll introduce myself and what the project is about.
We’ll start our conversation on what is natural wine, why it’s so important to know how wine is made and how we can drink better and more sustainable wine.
During our wine tasting you’ll be served with four glasses of wine in this particular order:
sparkling, white, orange and red wine.
Wines will be from Spain and other countries too according to availability. You’ll get a brief introduction of the producer, the region and how the wine was made.
I’ll make sure to have ready some snacks between wines (dried fruits and chips)
Guests will be asked what they like most of those wines and why. I’ll be open and ready to reply to any question and curiosites that may come up during our wine tasting.
At the end of the wine tasting you’ll be able to buy some bottles of wine to take away if you wish. I’ll also recommend you some wine bar and restaurants in Sitges and Barcelona that have natural wine on their menu.

- Natural sparkling wine - Sparkling natural wine made with one or two fermentations. Only native yeasts and nice, fine bubbles in the glass.
- Natural white wine - White wine made only with organic grapes and native yeast. You’ll be surprised how natural white wine taste different from conventional wine.
- Natural orange wine - Orange wine is how white wines were made in the past by using a particular technique called “skin contact” giving an amber, orange color to the wine.
- Natural red wine - Red wine that can be light, medium or full-bodied depending the season

Great experience to taste and learn all about natural wines - This was a great wine tasting experience! Michele explained all about natural wines in an informal and fun way. He has a lot of knowledge about natural wines and it was a real eye opener learning about this world. We tasted several different wines, some even locally from Catalunya, and they were all distinct and really good! I’m looking forward now to continue exploring (and drinking) natural wines!

Great natural & organic wine tasting! - The wine tasting with Michele, our host, was awesome! We tasted various organic and natural wines which were outstanding. The experience was super relaxed and not pretentious at all, the wines were explained in a casual and knowledgeable way which was exactly what we were looking for. We discovered some new gems and learned a lot while having a very nice evening tasting wines. We felt very welcomed by our host and would recommend this experience to anyone looking to explore these delicious wines while in Barcelona!

A great experience to taste artisan wines in Barcelona - My husband and I are starting to drink more natural and organic wines so this tour came perfectly to us. Michele, the host, welcomed us and made us feel like at home. This is not a formal and serious wine tasting. It's much more fun. We had several wines from different regions, including Catalonia as well. The wines were surprising and delicious and we left the tour with more knowledge about natural wine. I can finally say what is natural wine and why I should drink more of that. I definitely recommend this tour to anyone who want to experience an alternative wine tasting.
