  • Johannesburg - Explore the Johannesburg Central Business District, the city’s historic business center.
  • Apartheid Museum - Travel to the Apartheid Museum, where you’ll have 2 hours to independently explore the exhibits. The museum’s layout guides you through a chronological pathway, making it easy to follow the historical timeline.
  • Soweto - Transfer from the Apartheid Museum to Soweto, passing notable landmarks such as Baragwanath Hospital, Soweto Taxi Rank, and Soweto Towers.
  • Sakhumzi Restaurant - Head to SOWETO (South Western Township) for a lunch experience with the locals. Enjoy the local cuisine and atmosphere at your leisure. Note that all food and drinks are at your own expense.
  • Mandela House - After lunch, take a short walk to Nelson Mandela’s house, where you’ll see the residence he shared with his then-wife, Winnie Madikizela Mandela. This includes a brief 20-minute guided tour followed by 20 minutes of free time to explore the museum and take photos.
  • Sandton - Return to the original pick-up point in Sandton. On the way back, you’ll pass by Orlando Stadium (home of the Orlando Pirates Soccer team) and FNB Stadium (2010 Soccer World Cup venue and home of the Kaizer Chiefs Soccer team).

This is a private full day Cultural Tour so there will not be any other passengers in the vehicle with you. Although there will be other customers present on the guided tours.

This tour takes you deep inside the dark Apartheid past, giving you a first hand account of how it was to live under the old Apartheid Government, and then gives you a glimpse into the future under the new South African Constitution.

You will experience the old and the new business centre’s, we will drive into SOWETO and experience a local restaurant with locals. You will visit Nelson Mandela’s house (South African iconic President) to see where and how he lived and then you will drive by the 2010 Soccer World Cup Stadium where the soccer World Cup final was held, before being dropped off back at your hotel.
