We are a married couple who are... years old. - We are an older couple (65, 62) and not experienced climbers, but we wanted a great experience, so we chose a trip through Viator. The guide took excellent care of us, waiting and resting with us when we were very tired, helping take photos, and explaining the route. The car picked us up at Radisson Blu Atlantic on time. The guide was polite, kind, responsible, and highly recommended. Going on our own would be difficult as the rocks are very slippery, especially in rainy weather; shoes with deep treads are recommended. Thank you to our guide, Jonas. (There were 5 people on this trip.)

A good choice for me when no bus - It is a very nice experience. The walk itself is not difficult to me, but some parts are quite steep and hard to find a good path. Our guide Kenth is very experienced and friendly to assist. In my group, 2 others are not familiar with this level of walk and struggled. But with his help, they all safely completed the walk with good memory. I would aslo like to mention that the price is quite value worth, considering bus alone would cost NOK 1K+. PS he said he would still ask some people to give up if he consider it unsafe. If you are fit and want to do fast run, tour may not be your choice.

Guided tour to Keragsbolten - We had a great experience and were well looked after by our very friendly guide/driver Paul. In addition, he took some photos that we then had sent to us. Highly recommend this tour.

Had an amazing time... - Had an amazing time during this hike. Weather was not very good in the beginning, but it improved around 12h. Views from top of the cliff were incredible.

Great guide. - It was a great guide. He was kind and took care of me a lot, especially when I was old. And especially he guided me safely. Thank you to the guide.

Too rainy… - The weather was bad so I didn’t go all the way to the rock, but the guide is good at guiding the steps for minimum fall. Safety first!

Incredible hike - Great hike and amazing experience. Guide was friendly and helped thr slower members of the group on the more difficult sections. He also let us stay at thr top for a while to wait for weather ti improve to see incredible views. Definitely worth it. Also thing I'd say would be thst it would have been nice to have had some general commentary and information about Norway, the area, the hike etc when driving there as often tour guides do, to pass thr time and learn something before arriving.

Dishonest Agency - Experience more than mixed. The weather was not mild this Sunday but the excursion being maintained I went there. You have to be well equipped because the hike is difficult and trying, and requires a lot of climbing, the path being mainly rocks (climbable - more or less easily - thanks to the metal chains arranged on the path). The guide was very friendly, but the climb to the highest point was really arduous, not to say dangerous, in the rain and wind gusts at over 80km/h! Once we got to 1000m the guide suggested we turn around, as it was becoming too dangerous to continue. We agreed but did not see what there was to see!! I think these are things that happen and the operator will probably make a good business move. We therefore return 2 hours earlier than planned (5 hours car for 2 hours of good painful climb...) and write to Viator support for at least partial reimbursement. After many reminders from them, the operator never deigned to respond to the refund request and it was Viator who had to compensate up to 30 euros only (of the 150 paid!!). Basically, a dishonest and incomprehensible operator, who surely had in advance the precise meteorological data but preferred to maintain the hike, despite the danger and knowing possibly that it would not go to completion. In short, I lost money, precious time on the beautiful city of Stavanger, and I got injured slipping. Finally, I am used to hiking, athletic and trained. Check the weather in the days leading up to your excursion so that you can postpone or cancel if you can, as the operator will take all possible risks to maintain and take your money!
