Carretera Panamericana Sur - Our day will start when we pick you up with a 4x4 from your hotel, hostel or Airbnb at 7 am. We need to leave this early so we can avoid the heavy traffic of Lima. We will be heading the road to Punta Hermosa neighborhood which is located south of Lima. It takes 30 minutes to get there. Punta Hermosa is one of the most beautiful areas where to live by the ocean, you will feel the breeze of the ocean heading your face and one of the coolest atmospheres of beach life. Here is where we get all the equipment to do sandboarding and you will get a short briefing about what are you going to do the next 4 hours.
Back on track again you need to be ready because here is where the real FUN starts. Make sure you are using the seatbelt for your own safe and now we ride through sand dunes of different sizes and difficulty levels. It is so much fun going up and down in the middle of nowhere. You will have stunning views and plenty of time for pictures. After this adventure with the 4x4 you will be doing sandboarding first the small and then the large dunes. I will be with you all the time and taking pictures and making videos while you are having your best time in Lima.

🔥 FROM A BEGINNER: THIS IS AWESOME!! - Honestly, throughout our entire 10 day trip in Peru, this was one of the best experiences I had.
I was a bit skeptical because of the price, but a friend told me it was the greatest experience they had and now doing it I absolutely agree.
It’s a bit easier than snowboarding because the sand is rougher so it’s not as bad for beginners.
Rafael is excellent at instructing — he’s traveled all over the world too (Colombia, Germany, Brazil etc).
The videos also look crazy because the sand gets on your board and when you jump, it flies off.
But even for me (someone who doesn’t really use social media) it was just so much fun — feels thrilling and a low stakes version of snowboarding.

So much fun!! - What an experience. I can't say enough positive about Rafael and his assistant Dana. Their patience with me as I tried to learn this sport was amazing. Even though I wasn't able to master it, I had an amazing time tryng. If you are thinking about booking, do it. You won't regret it.

One of the kind experience - That was a great experience to end my short trip to Peru. So fun and challenging! I had some experience snowboarding but send gives you completely different perspective. I highly recommend to everyone, especially if you already know your way around the board.

10/10 must do when in Lima! - Amazing experience! First time sandboarding. The guys made me feel so welcome and looked after me. Amazing that I had the group all to myself and was able to do 5-6 long runs. Would recommend it to anybody visiting Lima who wants to try something different!

Unique and cool, no stress and fun - Ideal for just Sandboarding. Don’t have to worry about any other stops. Just get right into Sandboarding. Felt safe in the 4WD and managed to learn a lot about sand boarding. Would recommend if you want to try something unique.

Amazing!! - Amazing!! I’m a snowboarder visiting from California, and honestly, this was such a cool and unique experience! Different from boarding on the snow but so much fun and easy to get a hang of. I highly recommend trying it out because I had a blast and can now say I’ve boarded in the desert! Everything was wonderful from the pickup, guides and instruction. Felt very comfortable and always safe! Thank you!

Amazing half day experience from Lima - Amazing experience! My wife and I have never even snow boarded but it didnt matter because Rafa was an amazing teacher and was very patient with us. Driving through the dunes alone was worth the experience, the sand boarding made the experience that much more memorable. Highly recommended.

A must try in Lima - A must try if you’re visiting Lima but don’t want to travel all the way to Huacachina. Highly recommend this amazing experience, our guide was communicative in both Spanish and English which was helpful. Give it a shot, you won’t regret it.
