Great Day Tour - This was a great day tour to take to visit some of the popular sites in El Salvador. Our tour guide, Rafa, was very knowledgeable and helped us understand some of the rich Mayan history/culture. The tour itself was also small and so we were able to take in the sites without too much distractions. Highly recommended if you have a free day. Also note that there’s a fee of $3 to hike to the top viewpoint of Cerro Verde, which was totally worth it to see a beautiful view of Lake Coatepequi while swinging on a swing.

Good full day combo tour - We had an enjoyable trip. It is exactly as described, pickup on time at the place, the stops as described, the routes as described (the national park, lake, 2 Mayan sites, with sights of volcanos if weather permitting). The tour guide Ado did a good job telling us the history and culture of El Salvador. Beautiful forest, lake, and a delicious lunch.

Wonderful Day! - Great Day! Wonderful Guide - Eduardo - shared his extensive knowledge of the natural history, culture and environment of El Salvador. Nice mix of site-seeing, hiking, viewing/visiting culturally significant areas. It was a hot day, but alternating between indoor/museum at Joya de Ceren, covered archeological site, outdoor pyramids, walk/drive/lunch overlooking lake, hike into the (mostly forested) volcanic crater, made this long/packed/super-informative day enjoyable for anyone in reasonable/ordinary physical condition (longest walk about a mile in the shade -some incline and around 6,000 ft. elevation). I can't think of a better way to see/learn so much about the country in 8 short hours (we had about 10 since the guide deviated to the coast to pick us up early from El Zonte for a reasonable additional fee - quick stop for breakfast along the way :-)) Thanks so Much!
