Exhilarating hike in a downpour - An amazing and exciting hike due to Will our guide and the wet weather. We were in and out of many rivers next to waterfalls and across farmland. Will was so very encouraging and made the experience perfect. He took my phone and recorded many videos and photos to ensure we kept the amazing memories. Thank you so much. We will never forget it. Excellent Host and lovely horses - Daniel was an excellent host for the horse riding. He ensured our safety on the horses and during the hike to the waterfall. I have never been on a horse, but this was a nice and easy experience and the horses were lovely to ride on. The waterfall was beautiful. The guides gave us water which was helpful for the somewhat strenuous hike to the waterfall, coming back will involve around 500 steps or so but very doable if in decent shape. 10/10 experience, thank you Daniel.

Horseback Riding! - Our family were guided by Jackson and Sebastian on horseback to the waterfalls. Both were very nice and made sure we were safe and comfortable on the horses. Once to top of trail we hiked to the waterfall where it was fun for our family to swim and take some pictures. Thanks again Jackson and Sebastian for showing us a good time. Definitely recommend this place for family fun.

Beautiful view - What a beautiful ride to the waterfall.
The crew was so kind and the ride was easy to the falls. It was great that they had showers & changing places at the top of the waterfall. The steps down were easy. The hike back up from the falls is quite an exercise. Whew! We are in good shape but we had to stop several times. The guides stayed with us as we took breaks. The falls were beautiful, and the horse were well maintained. There is a buffet after the ride too!

Good value - This is a good beginner ride but does require good physical shape. The ride is a long back roads . The horses have spunk. The will trot and keep the order they want . If you’re looking for boring horses. This is not the ride. The trek to falls is steep stairs but has chain railings. It’s totally worth the hike. One big note is to keep your water shoes on . You will have to walk up the river to see the falls. The stairs there are owned privately and you cannot use them. And the guards there were not friendly to the horse tours. But swimming at the falls makes that trek back up not so bad. Guides were nice and funny but not as engaged as i would like . For the money . Good morning to do with the family

Easy ride horses - Our family loved the horseback riding and the waterfall is very pretty too. We were two adults and a seven year old and it worked for all.

Fun experience and great... - Fun experience and great way to get to la fortuna waterfall. Our only criticism is the group of 23 horseriders is very large. Be prepared for that.

Must be athletic for the hike!! - The hike is very rigorous. If you are not athletic it will be hard. I went with my 17 year old daughter and even she had to stop a couple times going back up. The climb down is hard but going back up I didn’t think I’d make it sour of the rain Forrest alive. Danny was my house and he was very patient with me.
