All along the travel through the forest reserve you will be able to watch sloths, birds and an exuberant flora . You will also be able to enjoy a panoramic view of the Central Valley, Poás Volcano and Irazú Volcano, and the Tres Marías Hills. The Canopy Tour includes 3 acivities: a short hike (15 minutes), 19 platforms, 13 cables, the longest cable has a length of aprox. 1500 ft (500 meters), and 2 rappels (40 & 10 meters).

Just a mere 20-minute journey from San José’s city center awaits the magnificence of the Carpintera Hills Rain Forest. Experience the thrill of zip-lining through the lush trees suspended from steel cables. Your journey through the nature reserve will give you the opportunity to spot sloths, diverse bird species, and a range of vibrant plant life. Take in the breathtaking views of the Central Valley, Poás Volcano, Irazú Volcano, and Tres Marías Hills. Your Canopy Tour will consist of three parts: a brief 15-minute hike, an adventure through 19 platforms and 13 cables with the longest cable stretching an impressive 1500 ft (500 meters) long, and finishes with 2 rappels (40 & 10 meters).

Thrilling - The entire adventure was exhilarating. Me and my friends all had a blast hiking, zip lining, and rappelling. Dylan and Ian, our tour guides, were really cool and you could tell they wanted us to have a good experience. Would recommend!

My 1st Hiking & Ziplining experience. - Ziplining and Hiking was so not on my bucket list, but I gotta say it was such a Great experience. I was a HUGE scary cat, terrified.
Thanks to Emma, Hann, Danny, and the whole crew, forgive me for not remembering the names, but they were so Freakn awesome and knowledgeable. I want to say Thank you for making my 1st experience wonderful. I felt safe and actually had an awesome time. They were so patient for the Hiking and Ziplining, I highly recommend this tour, they walked and talked me through everything. I am truly grateful for their patience (I wasn't the easiest, lol) but it's an experience I would definitely do again with THEM. Thank you all for an amazing experience. 🫶

I would do it again! But with the same crew! - The whole experience was amazing and beautiful but I can’t brag enough about our tour guides! Ms Hann, Mr Ian, Mr Minor, Mr Emmanuel,Mr Daniel, and Mr Dilan they made this even more special for my dad and I who. They had so much patience especially with my dad being 63! They have beautiful souls. I look forward to coming back this time in shape cause those steps were no joke but worth the views.

Great - The tour was great, we had a fun experience. The guide was patient n safe. It started pouring but we was able to finish safely. I would totally recommend, and they have a surprise for you at the end :)

So much fun! - We had such a great time zip lining and rappelling with Diego. He was so kind and patient. The hike up the mountain is not for the weak let me tell you, but zip lining down was breathtaking.

INCREDIBLE EXPERIENCE! - My best experience in Costa Rica, the guides made this tour unforgettable! It is very worth living!
They make you feel safe at all times and you have a great camaraderie with the other people who participate in the tour, it far exceeded my expectations!

So fun! - This was a great experience. If you’re looking for something to do in the San Jose area I would definitely recommend this. As everyone else has stated, there is a hike in the beginning. Take your time. They don’t start until everyone is up at the top. I was scared at first but Daniel, Hann, and Diego all were amazing at making me feel safe.

Experience through the air - My sister and I decided to take our dad for his birthday on this adventure tour. It was a pleasant experience, the guides Diego Castro, Brainer Chacón, Hanna Martínez and Daniel Villalobos who accompanied us, welcomed and guided us in this new experience in the air. The place is very full of colors, we noticed very lively vegetation and an accessible path to climb (although many steps haha) but very marked where to walk to venture safely. Regarding the canopy, rappelling full of adrenaline, the views are simply wonderful.
