The Mayan Face mountain also known as indian’s nose has a sublime view of Lake Atitlán and the guardians of the lake that are the volcanoes: San Pedro, Atitlán, Tolimán and Pakisis. It is also possible to see the volcanoes; Fuego, Acatenango, Agua that are located near Antigua Guatemala. Rostro Maya-Awesome Hike & Amazing Views - The Indian Nose (Rostro Maya) Sunrise Hike was an awesome experience. Vick was an excellent guide. He picked us up promptly at our designated pick-up spot, transported us to the trailhead, and guided us to the summit. We enjoyed some coffee and bread as we took in the views and an amazing sunrise overlooking Lake Atitlán. Vick provided factoids along the way about the lands we were hiking through and a general lay of the land once at the summit. I would highly recommend Vick as your guide for this unique experience.

Worth getting up early - Vick was an excellent guide. He was friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. We were glad to adventure with him. Vick provided excellent communication in advance and we would highly recommend him. Seeing the sunrise over Lake Atitlan will be a memory that lasts forever.

Recommend! - Great experience doing this tour with Vick — he answered all my questions about the pickup via WhatsApp. Our group was only 4 people which allowed us to get to the summit before most of the big groups. Vick explained lots about the area as we went up and down. It ended up being cloudy for us but we enjoyed anyway!

A perfect guide to visiting the lake - I highly recommend Victor for a trip to Lake Atitlan. I did the Indian Nose with him and there is nothing to complain about: fluid communication, clear instructions, hiking in a small group (we encountered large groups with other agencies). Victor speaks fluent English, is very pleasant and knows the lake and its history well.

Great experience - We had an amazing time on this tour. Vick was very communicative and even brought us bananas and apples when I told him I was having a hard time finding breakfast for the next morning and was worried about getting hungry on the hike! So sweet and a great experience.

Amazing hike and views! - We were picked up near our hotel in San Marcos and it was a short drive to the start of our hike. Our guide set the pace perfectly, allowing for breaks when our small group needed them (only 4 of us!) we arrived to the top with plenty of time to see the sunrise and get good seats as there are many other groups.

Exceptional guide - I had a wonderful experience with our tour guide Edwin. He picked us up on time and made sure we got to the mountain top early for best seating. He was knowledgeable about the area and history. The weather wasn’t the best for viewing but we enjoyed the hike all the same.

Unforgettable sunrise hike - Our hike up to Indian Nose was magical! Watching the sunrise over Lake Atitlán was unforgettable. It was the personal touches that made the experience extra special. Vick, our guide, shared tons of information about the surrounding towns, volcanos, local traditions, and coffee/avocado growing industries. Lastly, the hot coffee and sweet bread at the top was such a thoughtful touch that made this experience extra memorable.

Amazing experience! - This was an amazing tour with Victor. He was very kind and patient when needing to take breaks throughout the hike. Everything was efficient and as he described! It was a great experience and highly recommend going with Tours With Vick :)
