The Atacama Desert is the driest location on our planet which hosts a marvel like the Valley of the Moon. The very name hints at a terrain akin to an extra-terrestrial realm, dominated by wind-sculptured rock structures, layers of salt deposits, the prominent Duna Mayor, and vistas that transport you to a world beyond our own.

Venturing diagonally across the valley, we’ll explore its iconic stone shapes like the Tres Marías, the Canyon, and the natural Amphitheater. The journey concludes with a breathtaking sunset enjoyed from the Licarantay overlook, where the shifting hues of the desert, backdropped by towering volcanoes, create a magnificent display.

Admission to the Valley of the Moon can only be secured online and must be done no later than 6:00 p.m. the day before your planned visit.
