Best day in Belize. - Being a private tour, we got to take time at each stop. We saw so many fish, a turtle, many mantas and of course swimming with sharks. Our guides were superb; Shamir and his nephew. Handfed tartans which was quite the experience. BEST DAY.

The best part of our time in San Pedro! - We had the best experience with Captain Jimmy and the private snorkeling full day tour. It was myself, my husband and our 4 and 6 year old. Jimmy had a wealth of knowledge, made the experience fun and safe for our kiddos and was on time! The boat is nice and spacious and well maintained. We saw group tours out with a dozen people on a smaller boat than ours. It was the best part of our time on San Pedro book it!!!

Great staff and wonderful tour - We had a really great time snorkeling with Sun, Sea & Family Tours. The guides (Tony and Chris) are great and really look after my kids so my husband and I can snorkel without worrying about them. We saw so so many fish, sharks, sting rays, turtle, and many more. The weather was not so cooperative, it was raining and cold but we still enjoyed the tour and had so much fun! The lunch provided was really yummy and I went back for second! I would also like to add that the agent who sold us the tour package (C.J. is with this tour company) really took care of us too. There was some misunderstanding on my golf cart rental with another agent and he canceled our reservation but C.J. got us one right away! We rented the golf cart for one day only so C.J. arranged a taxi to take us back to our hotel after the tour. I highly recommend this company and will use them again when we go back which we’re already talking about.

Shamir made it fun! - Shamir was fantastic! Very attentive and focused on safety AND fun. Shamir pointed out great fish at Hol Chan. Definitely worth signing up with the tour.

Highlight of the trip! - Our snorkeling adventure with Shamir was the highlight of our trip. He communicated with us the day before so we knew where and when to meet him and what to expect. When we arrived at Hol Chan, he explained to us that it was “rush hour” and in that moment, I was so glad to be on a private tour instead of with many other guests. Shamir snorkeled with us and identified the various fish and marine life along the way, which was incredibly helpful. From there, we went to shark alley where he left it up to us if we wanted to swim or not. Of course, we did! From there, we went to Caye Caulker where we spent a few hours exploring and having lunch on our own. Then we fed tarpons (which was awesome, but not for the faint of heart - my whole hand was in a tarpon’s mouth!) and saw little seahorses. All in all, it was an awesome excursion and the highlight of our trip. Shamir was a great guide and incredibly knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend.

Snorkeling tour in Belize - Shamir, our captain, displayed great skipper ability and knowledge of the marine flora/fauna. There is cost and then there is value - Shamir is a gentleman and that's of much value these days. Would recommend this tour. (we think of ourselves as experienced world travelers).

Great day of snorkeling and fun! - My family took this trip with Shamir as our guide…what a great day! Shamir is very knowledgeable, friendly, patient and has a great sense of humor. He made sure we enjoyed every aspect of our outing. Of course the snorkeling and Caye Caulker are not to be missed, but your guide can make or break your experience. Thank you Shamir!

Private Snorkeling Tour Belize - Shamir and Shaq were great snorkeling guides for our trip on Jan 21st, 2023 to Hol Chan and Caye Caulker. We would recommend this trip for others !

Highlight of our vacation - The absolute highlight of our vacation. Our group was all women ranging in age from 14-70 and we all had a fabulous day. We had such a great time that we booked a second full day excursion for later in the week. Our guide Shamir was so helpful and knowledgable. He was also very safe, gave good safety instructions, and was constantly watching all of us in the water to make sure we were okay and with the group. He let us explore at our own pace and took the time to point out amazing sea life at Hol Chan that we would not have seen without his help. He even took some amazing up close photos and videos of turtles, rays, lobster, etc. with our camera. in addition to Hol Chan, we swam with sharks, explored Caye Caulker, and fed the tarpons. I really cannot say enough good things about this experience.

Wonderful excursion - This was definitely a wonderful excursion. I would recommend it to families and couples alike. We started with snorkeling, continued to some more snorkeling at Hol Chan marine reserve on we stopped for two hours at Caye Caulker ( highly recommend). Did I mention we swam with nurse sharks, which was a great experience for my college girls. On the way back, we fed the tarpons and saw sea horses. Wonderful team, great service and knowledge.
