Good food, yummy tequila! - Great food, fun excursion! We do wish the atv trail was longer and that the price included at least one photo since phones weren’t always allowed. But overall fun!

You get what you pay for - The whole compound is way out in the middle of nowhere. When you arrive they immediately try to make you buy things in their gift shop. They say you need bandanas and goggles for atvs and water shoes for cenotes… you don’t. They try to make you pay for atv insurance and then basically force you to pay for a locker because you’re not allowed to bring your items with you on the atv or ziplining. The atvs were fun, though we didn’t go very fast. Ziplining was average, we didn’t zipline over nice areas it was like construction. The cenote swimming was my favorite and super cool, though you can’t jump into the cenote like advertised. My biggest problem was the waiting, between each activity they would make us wait like 20 minutes. And another couple that was picked up at the same time as us, chose to horse back ride, and we had to wait for them before our next activity. They also kept sitting at the bar and ordering drinks, and we had to wait for our next activity while they drank. Tequila tasting was fun and the bartender was nice, but again they just tried to get you to buy bottles. The lunch at the end was good but not very large, we immediately ate more at the resorts buffet when getting back. Overall I just felt like it was unorganized and not the best experience.

Not as advertised - Carlos was the high light of our experience. Very professional, knowledgeable and proactive. The Team was fair to allow us to do the horse back riding in lue of the transportation as they were not able to pick us up in our hotel lobby. Pro tip: if you are staying in Playa Del Carmen, specially in the Maroma area, does not book the experience with transportation. They will not pick you up and will have you going to the 7Eleven store next to the Chedraui supermarket in Puerto Morelos. Additionally, eat enough food if you choose the morning option as there is not buffet as advertised. They will only give you three tacos.

Bad guide, good activities. - I’m sorry but the people working there don’t give two shts about you they just want it to be over with it feels like. The guide didn’t do the 1 thing he’s supposed to do properly: GUIDE. It was very little info he gave us and it was rushed. Most of the group were like lost sheep and we were a small group and it wasn’t even busy there. Where do we go, when do we get back to the van,… nothing. It felt like he kept disappearing, he didn’t really stay with the group nor guide or lead that much. At the end you’re sort of forced to tip. You could tell no one wanted to (because it wasn’t deserved), but they waited until people started pulling out money. Also it was pouring: why not allow us to change for 5 minutes into swimwear so our clothes don’t get drenched on the ATV’s? I asked and he said no it’s not necessary. The only redeemable factors were the activities themselves: the atv & ziplining were great. The tequila testing was okay: the barista had a great personality but talked too fast (again: felt rushed) I think they were behind schedule or something. The swimming in the cenote was “okay” i guess it’s a nice cenote but it was crowded with loud and obnoxious people. They should have a referee there who quiets people down and maintains order (like they have in cenote ik-kil). The only redeeming factor was that you do soooo much in such a short time: it’s a wild ride.

Don’t Go - The tour was advertised as 4 hours starting at 1:30. We were picked up at 11:40 and weren’t dropped off until about 8pm. Once we got there we were rushed into a gift shop and told it was necessary to buy bandanas, sunglasses and water shoes which we didn’t end up needing. The activities felt rushed and the meal at the end was small, cheap and not enough. Everyone in my group was complaining about being hungry. Everything was an additional charge. Besides the price of the tour my partner and I spent an additional $104. If I knew this would be the case I would’ve chosen a different tour with another company.
