The Amazing Cozumel Race - Meet up with your teammates at the hosted starting line on the island of Cozumel where you’ll receive your first clue. (Players sign up in teams of two to eight people; solo players are welcome and will be placed on a team.) Then embark on your 4-hour self-guided tour that combines the best sightseeing with the spirited competition of a scavenger hunt.

Solve your first clue with the help of your savvy team and you’re on your way, with each puzzle leading you to another sightseeing location with a new clue. The team that solves all the clues and crosses the finish line in the least amount of time is crowned the winner.

You’ll need your wits, energy and sense of adventure as you race against time and competing teams while experiencing all Cozumel has to offer. Along the way, enjoy local goodies and see a side of Cozumel most visitors never see.

At the finish line, enjoy some much deserved snacks and two complimentary beverages per participant.

Your amazing race tour includes a post-race awards ceremony at a local restaurant for a light snack and refreshing beverages. Wrap up the afternoon with prizes for top finishers while you eat, drink and make merry with other players and exchange stories from the field. A discounted meal is available for purchase during the ceremony (own expense).

Team up with fellow competitors in an amazing race around the island of Cozumel. This interactive, clue-based adventure game is part scavenger hunt, part sightseeing tour. Players sign up in teams of two to eight, who together solve a mystery at each self-guided stop. Your small-group tour includes food, drink, and local treats. Perfect for the sole traveler, couples or families, this game is a great way to discover Cozumel!

The starting line is at the Mercado Municipal at the Area Comida (food court). It is on the north side of Calle Dr Adolfo Rosado Salas between Ave. 20 and 25.

Fun Run with Brain Teasers - This was the highlight of my shore excursions. As fans of a similar television series, we enjoyed the several challenges placed before us. None were particularly difficult or annoying as those challenges can be, and the race allows you to take in the entirety of central Cozumel. They have worked out arrangements with local vendors, so I got a taste of local culture while racing. Despite my competitive nature, we finished next to last, but had fun throughout.

Way more fun than expected! - I've been to Cozumel several times and this was an amazing excursion! It was well organized and so much fun. There was a lot of emphasis on safety (the provide each team with a phone in case of navigation problems). If you like TVs Amazing Race, you'll love this. Clever puzzles, wonderful guides, and a beautiful and fun way to see the city. I would do this excursion again!

Family fun in Cozumel!! - Loved that the clues were challenging but not impossible. The guides were helpful and funny and made it so fun! Great way to spend the afternoon. BRING WATER! It was HOT!!!

Our favorite excursion on our recent cruise! - Had a really awesome time! The race was really well organized and we had a blast! The organizers did a good job of making a variety of challenges that took us around the city and got us to interact with a lot of the shops and people in the area. Definitely would recommend!

Amazing experience, very well run! - I completed this race with my husband and friends and we had a wonderful time. The organizers were great and it was run very smoothly. The challenges were varied and great for fans of Amazing Race or escape rooms/scavenger hunts. We really enjoyed running around and the locals were into helping us too! It was a fun way to see parts of Cozumel that we may not have seen otherwise. I highly recommend this excursion!

Amazing Excursion - HIGHLY recommend - We did Amazing Race St Martin and this one in Cozumel was equally as exceptional. Our family loves this excursion. Great for pre-teens, teenagers, and adults. Everyone had so much fun. Excellent way to see downtown (don’t forget to look up while you’re running from clue to clue). The staff were amazing!!!!! If you like puzzles (required) and running (not required) you will love this excursion. This is among our favorite excursions. We would without reservation highly recommend this to everyone. Thank you team Cozumel for contributing to some incredible family memories that we will never forget.

Guides Martin, Naomi & Ada were AMAZING! - Incredibly fun!! Our guides were Martin, Naomi & Ada. All 3 were amazing! SO helpful & encouraging. Running around Cozumel was challenging, but felt very safe. When we were way off, the guides helped re-direct us. Would do this again with friends of family in a second. It felt like we were doing the Race! Guides were all A++++++. Thank you so much!

Stressful - Our tickets said 9:30 am. It was difficult to find, so we decided not to stress ourselves and just not try to meet up with the guide. At 11:50, a guide from Viator called looking for us and said our race was at 11:30, not 9:30. Another aggravating moment. Viator should have had a representative at the cruise port with better instructions.
