Great experience as a family. - We participated to this snorkelling tour as a family, with 2 kids aged 10 and 13. We had such a great time! The guides were really friendly and helpful (Roma, Lola and Natalia if I remember well). We were 11 on the boat and saw 4 different spots (Palancar, Columbia, El cielo and Cielito). Had a nice ceviche and drinks at Cielito and snorkeled on the 3 other sites before. Saw a sea turtle, many stingrays at Cielito and at Palancar, countless fishes and starfishes (at Cielo). Taxi from the ferry is 10 usd or 150 pesos +tip and it takes only 10 minutes. Really great.

Exceeded expectations and good value - We went to 4 locations in 4 hours. We saw a turtle, multiple stingrays and lots of fish. The team was welcoming, and made sure everyone had a good time. They served us a few snacks at the end including chips and ceviche, mango with tahin, and some watermelon.

Highly recommended - Snorkeling tour on Cozumel from family businesses - Four of us with quite different swimming and diving skills did a tour to the Colobia and Palencar reef, El Cielo and El Cielito. As announced on the website we were up to 12 people (specifically: 11) on the boat, although even more would have fit it, but so the group was a good size. Communication and transfers were straightforward. Carla, the head of the family business, is well organized and has a very good overview. The tour management, Gio and Alejandra were great: nice, knowledgeable, competent and responsible, so you never felt insecure at any point. The snorkeling was totally impressive: we saw tons of fish, but also a lobster, a turtle and a huge Baracuda, as well as lots of rays and starfish. Gio carefully guided us past other boats, snorkeling groups and divers and drew attention to special features, his enthusiasm and respect for the marine animals being evident at all times. Alexandra also encouraged the weaker swimmers to take beautiful photos and made the tour a special experience for everyone. Lunch - nachos with guacamole and salsa DE tomato with ice-cold beer - in the knee-deep water at the Cielito was the perfect finish. We were very enthusiastic and can recommend the tour with Cozumel Cruise Tours without restrictions!

Great Day Adventure ......Bad Ending!!! - The Captain and Mate ( Rapheal) were Great! The gal taking the pictures was good until at the end !!! We tipped each person $20 for their help!!So $60 went for a nice tip for their services! I wanted to see the pictures she took. I found only 1 that I liked so SHE TRIED TO PUSH FOR MORE AND I said No Thank you Just this 1!!! She said it was $30 so I gave her the money right then......I asked for my picture and she said we had to fill.out this paperwork and we did but we could NOT GET THE WiFi CONNECTION. THERE WAS DEFINITELY A LANGAUGE BARRIER UNFORTUNATELY........SO ,proceeded to tell her I did not want the picture since she did not know the Wifi password....And I asked Vety Nicely to get the money I had just handed her back to.me!!! SHE WOULD NOT DO THIS !!! Luckily Raphel was still there are he helped with the language barrier and she was VERY NASTY ABOUT GIVING OUR MONEY BACK!!! We had already given her a tip for $20 cash!!! So I was upset at how Nasty she was!!! But Rapheal called someone and he explained what had happened ....MY HUSBAND WAS FURIOUS!!! HE SAID HE WOULD GIVE A BAD REVIEW.....BUT that is not the way to handle such an AWESOME ECPERIENCE WE HAD JUST HAD!!! SHE did give us our $30 back and we left!!! But I felt you all should know that this happened and hopefully she will learn from this ecperience!!! I was just SHOCKED HOW RUDE SHE GOT AND WAS DETERMINED SHE WAS NOT GIVING OUR MONEY BACK!!! SO PLEASE TELL RAPLEAL THSNK YOU ...BECAUSE IF IT WERE NOT FOR HIM I WOULD HAVE GONE TO THE POLICE TO TRY TO GET MY MONEY BACK!!!

Great views, perfect itinerary - The Tour was excellent! It left the agreed meeting point on time. We could see all the attractions the Tour promised, including DE starfish and also a sea turtle.
I would definitely do it again!

Snorkeling fun - Snorkeling at El Cielo in Cozumel was absolutely breathtaking! The water was some of the clearest and most beautiful I’ve ever seen — a true paradise. The snorkeling itself was a lot of fun.
That said, the boat left a bit to be desired, it it took away just a bit from the overall experience.
Still, the natural beauty of El Cielo and the magic of being in that water made it more than worth it. Highly recommend the excursion — just go in with modest expectations for the boat!

Worst excursion ever experienced - One of the worst excursions we’ve ever experienced – avoid at all costs.
The entire experience was chaotic, uncomfortable, and far below any acceptable standard of safety or professionalism.
Guide : Guia Lazarito ; captain : Roger
We were crammed onto a tiny, noisy boat with 12 passengers and 2 crew members — 14 people in total. The boat was clearly overloaded: we saw the safety label on board, which listed a maximum weight capacity of 1,300 lbs (under 600 kg). That is far less than the total weight of 14 adults with equipment. This alone raises serious safety concerns.
Life jackets were available, but everything else felt careless. There was no proper briefing, no clear safety instructions, and no real supervision during the snorkeling stops. Each snorkeling session lasted just a few rushed minutes. With strong currents, lots of boats around, and no guidance, we never felt safe in the water.
Even worse, two of the snorkeling stops was done in open water during a tropical storm, with thunder, pouring rain, and reduced visibility. We were in the water with zero visibility and lightning around us — it was completely irresponsible and terrifying. The crew didn’t seem to take the situation seriously at all.
The snorkeling gear consisted only of masks and snorkels, both in terrible condition — leaky masks, foggy lenses, unhygienic snorkels. No fins were provided. The snorkeling spots themselves were overcrowded and disappointing, with murky water, very few fish, and no turtles (which can happen, of course, but it’s heavily advertised in their marketing).
As for logistics: we were told to meet “at the Cozumel ferry terminal” 15 minutes before the tour, but no one was there to greet us, and no transportation was included to get to their agency. We had to figure it out on our own. Once at the agency, we found there were no changing rooms or facilities, neither before nor after the tour — a complete lack of basic comfort.
The only enjoyable part was the stop at El Cielito, a stunning shallow sandbank with turquoise waters where we got to see beautiful rays swimming around us. It was truly picturesque — but not nearly enough to save the overall experience.
It was also at El Cielito that ceviche and drinks were served. Sadly, the ceviche was bland, the beer was cheap, and the juice was overly sweet — again, a clear sign of cutting corners.
And finally, the worst part: the guide, Guia Lazarito, aggressively pressured everyone for tips, for both himself and the captain. He insisted openly and repeatedly, even telling some guests to go to the port to withdraw cash. When we gave what we believed was a fair tip, his behavior changed completely — he turned cold and dismissive, clearly unhappy. It was extremely uncomfortable and unprofessional.
A tourist trap, not a proper guided tour. For your safety and sanity, stay far away.
