Cozumel boat excursion - Johnny, Jesús, Martin ,Reyes, ando Ismael were so welcoming and friendly! They kept the drinks flowing and were great guides for snorkling. We saw awesome fish!

- This was one of 4 excellent trips we booked with this company and would recommend them 100%!! We were actually supposed to do the ATV trip instead of this one, but they were prompt in letting us know the ATV trip was no longer available due to circumstances beyond their control so we switched to this one. The other trips we did was the Adults only Isla Mujeres catamaran trip, the Riviera sunset catamaran and the snorkelling with turtles-cenote-beach club. We had transportation with each trip and everything was so well organised, even when they were running a little late one day they kept me updated. All of the food and drinks were great on board and there was lots of room. Thanks again to all the staff from the drivers to the guides, we loved our trips!

BUYER BEWARE: Great Staff Trapped in a Terrible Company - Despite good on-board staff, Cancun Adventures' deceptive booking practices, hidden fees, and abysmal customer service make this company impossible to recommend to anyone. What could have been an enjoyable experience was completely ruined by Cancun Adventures' administrative incompetence and questionable business practices. While I want to acknowledge the positives, potential customers deserve to know the full story. Reservation Nightmare Ruins Everything (0/5) The entire experience was poisoned from the start: Blatant false advertising: Confirmed hotel pickup service that they later denied existed No-show for original tour: Left us stranded at our hotel after multiple confirmations Forced rescheduling: Had to accept an inconvenient 6:15 AM departure time a week later Extortion tactics: Upon arrival, surprised us with an unexpected $60 ferry fee with the ultimatum of paying or losing our entire $300-400 payment Two vacation days wasted: Their failures cost us precious vacation time we can never get back The Actual Staff Deserves Better (4/5) The only redeeming quality was the boat crew who clearly take pride in their work: Guide Omar was knowledgeable and conducted the tour professionally in both English and Spanish Onboard refreshments were well-managed with consistent service Activities like snorkeling and paddle boarding were well-organized The actual tour execution showed what the experience could have been without the administrative chaos Why We Cannot Recommend (1/5) Despite the crew's efforts, this company has fundamental problems that make it impossible to recommend: Complete disconnect between what's promised and what's delivered Zero accountability when things go wrong Willingness to exploit customers who are already inconvenienced by their mistakes Surprise fees that significantly increase the advertised price Additional costs for photos that should be included at this premium price point Final Verdict: Not Worth the Headache The boat crew deserves recognition and tips for their professionalism, but they're unfortunately working for a company with deeply problematic business practices. At $300-400+ (with hidden fees), you're paying premium prices for budget-level customer service. BUYER BEWARE: No matter how appealing their tours sound, the stress, frustration, and additional costs make Cancun Adventures a company to avoid. There are many other tour operators in the region who won't ruin your vacation before it even starts.
