Catamaran, ceviche, and saxofĂłn en el Cielo! - Excellent excursion. The service was incredible and the fresh ceviche was delicious. It was very well organized, the boat was sparkling clean, and the crew was super helpful and friendly. Great music selection and even a saxofĂłn player amused us with his talent! He was part of the crew. Love coming to this area where the locals are so kind and friendly.

Some poor communication at the start but good experience. - As others have said, finding the company was difficult. They do not tell you the name of the company even after downloading your ticket so finding the correct meeting location is damn near imposible in the sea of vendors along the pier. The whatsapp number they provided was not an operable number. I asked a random vendor and she sent me to a lady in a red shirt that happened to be the correct spot. The chile tequila boat was nice with table inserts. You could bring your own food and enjoy family seating. The snorkel locations were amazing and it was definitely a locals company. There will be a dock fee added on before you board that will essentially double your costs. The chile tequila crew was friendly.

Delay of 2 hours in the departure time due to bad communication - They're a third party apparently... Because although a day earlier they assured that one had to report at 12.30-12.45 hrs to set sail at 1pm. The truth is that the operators commented that since 3 months they have changed their departure to 2pm. And we didn't know and nobody to let us know what was going on because they stopped answering calls. The snorkeling equipment was damaged and smelled bad. The place itself where the activity takes place IS very worthwhile.

Worst snorkeling trip ever - Don't do it . So unorganized. We waited in a hot room 2 hour before walking to boat . They double charged us.not the boat in picture. Not enough seats . People had to sit on little plastic stools. You can't drink until after the long boat ride to reef and after the snorkeling. Then the serve you beer from a forty ounce bottle . Spend the extra money on better snorkeling trip . Trust me

Scammers - Had miscommunication with this company. I booked 1pm sail but when we got there, the guide told us its at 2pm. Likewise, they tried to charge additional money (outside of the docking fee), although we paid in fill when we initially booked it.

Dont do it - They lie abput the description. If they tell you its in your language, good luck. Its not. Therefore the snorkelimg is completely dangerous. The boat is disgusting and the drinks are a nasty. Dont waste your money. Other snorkeling tours are far better

Boat Bait and Switch - We booked this excursion based on the boat pictured, the fact that it said it is a "luxurious" double deck catamaran, MAX of 35 people per group, the cool slide, and the great reviews. It even states again "THIS TOUR/ACTIVITY WILL HAVE A MAXIMUM OF 35 TRAVELERS." This is NOT the boat we ended up on. I do not know how we were put on the Chile Tequila (see this company's other listing) but what we got was similar to a ferry PACKED with 120 people and pretty far from luxurious. We checked in, were given a sticker that said "Chile Tequila," a wristband, and told to come back at 2 (when I was originally told the boat departed at 130). Until we rounded the corner of the dock with a massive amount of people, and herded onto the boat, did I realize we had been put on a different boat. Our party of eight was packed like sardines in a booth with our life jackets on unable to move around the boat. The listing says bring "water-based sunscreen". We specifically brought REEF SAFE WATER-BASED SUNSCREEN. Everyone was told to not wear any sunscreen and was shamed and told over and over by staff there was NO SUNSCREEN and if you put it on to take it off immediately. We did as we were told but watched as many on the boat continued to put on NON REEF SAFE sunscreen behind their backs. One person in our party was denied snorkeling as we were leaving the boat at the first stop because her life vest was not on properly (too many people for the staff to help with their jackets). Her kids jumped off the boat before her and she was forced to stay behind. The staff just told her "next stop" while she watched her family swim away. Once we got to our last tour stop, we see the boat that’s pictured in this listing -- the excursion we ACTUALLY BOOKED. We tried to make the best of the trip for our kids, but honestly the adults felt duped and taken. On the way back to the ferry dock, the “lively entertainment” (that is listed in the Chile Tequila listing was a beer chugging contest down snorkels and a pole dancing competition between mom and daughter. I felt bad for people with little children. At least we had teens that were old enough for what the "lively" entertainment was. At any rate, buyer beware. This was a total bait and swtich situatiton. It is not what you portray in your listing -- a luxurious 35 person catamaran. Or, maybe it is if you are lucky and you get the right boat. So, roll the dice?? The Chile Tequila is what we ended up on and pretty far from luxurious and triple the amount of people. And, yes, I have reached out to the contact I had via WhatsApp, through TripAdvisor, and direct email to the company and have had no response.
