BEST EXCURSION EVER! - The chocolate factory was an excellent event. It's a lot of work to make chocolate but oh so worth the effort. I loved our guide for the tequila tasting. So much better than other tequila tastings that I have done before. The lunch was fantastic. Nemo was such a help, explaining the menu. This was a most enjoyable excursion and Nemo made it perfect. Thank you Nemo.

Worth doing - Enjoyable tour! Adolfo was a great guide, and Nancy at the chocolate place was wonderful too. We learned a fair amount about chocolate and tequila, and the tacos at the end were delicious.

Fantastic experience - The chocolate factory was amazing. We learned the entire process of making chocolate. Got to taste chocolate from the raw form to the finish and several different flavors. We even got to make our own hot chocolate disc. Then we learn the process of how tequila is grown an processed, finishing with a tasting of 5 levels of tequila. Then it was off to an authentic Mexican meal at "Grandma's House". The taco restaurant was closed for carnival but our guide, Guillermo was quick thinking and filled it in with an amazing lunch.

Great fun tour. - The chocolate event was very informative and a fun interactive event. Had a blast. The Tequila tour was amazing and learned a lot about commercial brands and the absolutely amazing local blue agava regional tequilas you can’t buy around the world. If you want a very smooth sipping tequila this is the place to buy some. Amazing taste and flavors.

Nice way to spend a few hours - We enjoyed the stops that we made. Had fun learning about and making chocolate, Nancy was an excellent chocolate guide. The tequila stop was neat as well. And couldn’t beat the taco place we stopped at. Each place kind of has its own guide so be ready with tips at each location. It was nice to get away from the typical tourist hot spots and see a few inner spots of Cozumel.

Adolfo was friendly and... - Adolfo was friendly and informative. He did a great job. I would say the car AC was not working but not a big deal. The tequila tasting felt like a really artificial experience. I think they built everything there and it wasn’t authentic. The chocolate making made everything worth it. Nancy was so sweet and patient.

You definitely don’t get what you pay for - Our tour guide was good given the situation his tour company put us in! Did not provide us with much information was basically a ride from one place to another. We had to take a taxi to their meeting point ($20) then they arrived 1 hour late leaving us waiting in heat. There was definitely no air conditioning in the vehicle. We were only able to do lunch and Chocolate making. We went to chocolate factory but we were late to class so had to rearrange and do lunch first- not a problem since we were hot, thirsty and hungry. No clue what part of the tour was supposed to cover Mayan culture. Did not have enough time to do tequila or much of anything else as we made to onboard just under 1 hour to all aboard. No credit or offers of any sort. Have booked many Viator tours and they have all be excellent, but they definitely need to find a new vendor for this. Cruise price and value would have been a much better choice
