If travelers so wish, they are taken on a tour of the local market where they can view fresh produce at its best.

We will teach them to make the most traditional dishes of Mexican cuisine, where they will be able to use techniques inherited from generations.

Great experience cooking Mexican food with Sam - We had a great time and learned some valuable cooking tips from Chef Sam. The food was excellent with all the beautiful Mexican flavours that we can actually make ourselves at home. ! We highly recommend taking Sam’s cooking class.

SO much fun! - We had a WONDERFUL time cooking with Sam. We learned so much about Mexican cuisine and ingredients. The food we prepared was delicious and Sam is a wonderful chef and teacher. I can not recommend this enough. Four of us worked together in the kitchen to prepare all the food. Sam was super attentive and we had such a good time. This class is just the BEST!

Better than Tacos! - We made the most remarkable dishes that were very true to the authentic cuisine of Mexico. Not things that tourist would order in restaurants. Sam was a great instructor. Very patient and friendly!

San Miguel Cooking Class - Hands-on experience preparing San Miguel dishes (and margaritas.) Informative and tasty. Location is just outside the Centro, an easy walk from our B&B and the Artisans Mercado.

Truly Disappointed! - I was totally disappointed with the cooking class. I had read excellent reviews so I was looking forward to the experience. The class was a one on one which was ok though I assumed there might be others there. The menu was uninspired. I did learn a few cooking tips. I ate alone in the dining room which felt uncomfortable. And totally not what one would expect in MX. Eating and chatting with Sam in the kitchen was what I would have expected. At the end of the class I asked for recipes. He said Viator would send them. I have texted him and asked for the recipes. I have taken other classes in SM and been pleased with them. This class was completely disappointing! The class was billed as a three hour class. This class lasted two hours. I also feel cheated by the experience.
