Highlights
  • Tres Raíces - We’ll shuttle from San Miguel de Allende to visit one of the best local vineyards located approximately twenty minutes away. We will tour the beautiful vineyard inside and out with its unique personality, grandiose architecture, and majestic vistas. We will walk the fields and smell the essence of the vines and grapes (green seasons only spring & summer). Next we will explore the wine cellar where the wine is aged and you will learn all about the wine production process. At this point is when the fun really begins as we learn all about wine and its structure when we participate in a tasting of 5 wines and the association of delicious meats, cheeses and local-made honey in a beautiful wine tasting room. You will learn each wine’s properties and how best to appreciate them. You will be amazed by the wine and culture in this country & the history of wine in this region. After the tour and if most of the group agrees you can continue your journey by staying to dine at the vineyard’s extravagant restaurant, or feel free to walk the grounds of the winery and take in the natural beauty of the landscape. Lovely visit to Tres Raices vineyard - Our guide Ashanti had only been there five months, but she was excellent. Very knowledgeable and personable. The wines and the snacks were quite good. The winery itself has a great restaurant and stunning architecture. I would definitely recommend this destination.

Great tour! - My partner and I had a wonderful time on this tour! Everyone was pleasant and the vineyard was beautiful. All the wines were tasty and we even brought some home. They went out of their way to keep track of us after the tour to ensure we didn’t miss our ride back. Would love to visit again!

Visit Three Roots - It is a very beautiful and fun experience, the guide and the sommelier were excellent and answered all the questions. The harvest festivals in September were highly recommended to me, I hope not to miss them. Highly recommended

A lovely afternoon - Everyone was very gracious and helpful. I have some walking difficulties and they were very adapted to my needs. We toured the vineyards in a golf cart and loved the tour and the information We stayed for dinner and enjoyed the view, the meal, and the charming young waiter. What a lovely afternoon.

Good experience in the vineyard - Good experience, except that the tour was very short, we went during a season when the land was at rest, so we could not appreciate the vineyard in all its splendor. If you don't want to eat at the local restaurant, you have plenty of time.

Hijacked by the Vineyard - Do not do this tour!!!! It is a major rip off they truck you to the Vineyard do a tour and taste some wine and then the guide, who works for the Vineyard wants a freakin tip! She is trying to send you wine! You never see this in Napa or Sanoma. Oh after the tasting they will not pick you up till three hours later ridiculous! They are forcing the Vineyard to use the restaurant because you are the middle of no where do not do this ever period.

Don’t take this trip - None , overpriced, was supposed to go to 4:30 over by 2:30. 2:30 was more than enough. This is the worst Viator I have ever done. Snack was very small. For the price there should have been more food. Waited 1/2 hour for people to get the shuttle at the end. What was the reason for the price. They made a killing!! Do t do this outing.
