A really fun and interesting tour - Jalal was a phenomenal tourguide, would highly recommend her. Learned a lot about the history of SMA, got great food recommendations, and had fun!

Incredible knowledge and entertaining - We boked this tour in Spanish, I wanted my kids to practice their spanish and we got Felipe as a tour guide. He is a young tourguide full of knowledge and incredibly interesting. We couldn’t have had a better tour guide. We were impressed of how much history of San Miguel he knew and how interesting he told it that even kids were amazed. Totally recomended and if booking in spanish ask for Felipe!

Best introduction to SMA - Jalal is AMAZING!!! - Jalal!!! - JB from Follow Me Tours - was AMAZING! Kind, passionate, and extremely knowledgeable. We toured with a group (English speaking) our first morning in SMA. She was welcoming to everyone and funny / started the tour on time (don't be late!) -- and she shared an amazing amount of information in a short time (her English was as fast as her Spanish). She kept things moving, yet kept it at a pace that was friendly to all ages. She also shared photos with us from our tour, as well as places to visit (including where to get the best taco, breakfast treats, where there were clean 'public' bathrooms, etc) while we were visiting SMA. She even added on to the tour for those available / interested in tagging along. Note: if she offers this to you / your group make sure to take her up on this amazing offer! - She took us to a hotel where they have an amazing mural and a bartender that can tell you all about it in English!!! This tour is a wonderful way to begin your time in SMA!!! You will get a taste of the area, and the history. By taking this tour first you will then be able to visit more areas and have a better knowledge of SMA. Do it!!! You will not be disappointed. Wear comfortable walking shoes!!! The roads are not 'cobblestone' as we know them in the US, or that I've encountered when in Europe... It is quite uneven. Tennis style shoes / shoes with an arch support are best in this amazing city. And if you're lucky you'll run into Jalal in a park!... If we could do this again, we would try to schedule a tour where it was her and us. She is truly amazing!!! I (we) highly recommend this tour!!! -- and plea$e give gratuity to your tour guide. While they are paid, this is a kindness and acknowledgement of their amazing ability (service) to share SMA from a local person. They are also trained to give these tours. Very smart people!!!

Emma was the best - Emma was amazing. She was sooo very knowledgeable and attentive. She shared information that’s traditional history and then information that’s not in the books yet so relevant. I wish she could be my tour guide for all walking tours. Huge fan. And a great way to get the history of this beautiful city in a two hour condensed experience.

The best tour of San Miguel de Allende - Jalal is a phenomenal guide. I live in San Miguel and was astonished by how much I didn’t know. In two hours Jalal made a compelling narrative out of 500 years of history and infused it with a passion for Mexican culture.

What a find! - Don’t miss this mirador nest. Susana and Richard will definitely be Super Hosts! They were very responsive to our needs, helpful about giving directions and suggestions and all around wonderful hosts. Our sweet mirador place was clean, charming and comfortable as was the outdoor space and furniture. And what a view! We could see all of San Miguel with surrounding mountains. Our big old dog had a great time playing with our host dogs. The space is three stories up.

Great Way to Learn about San Miguel - We did this tour as our first activity after arriving in San Miguel. It gave us a good overview and history of the city. Yalal was passionate and knowledgeable. She also gave us wonderful recommendations of places to visit not on the tour (which we did and were glad we did). Her restaurant recommendations were also great, especially for us as vegetarians. I would recommend doing this tour to get a sense of the town once you arrive
