Highlights
  • Mexico City - PICK UP
    (Only if you hired transportation, otherwise we will see you at our Balloonport)

4:40am -We will pick you up at your Hotel in CDMX to go to the magical town of Teotihuacán, where our balloon port is located.

  • San Juan Teotihuacan - BALLOON FLIGHT
    6:00 am - We will be arriving at the takeoff area where we will receive you with a coffee break (coffee bar and cookies).
    6:30am - We will take off in the hot air balloon where we will fly for 45 minutes up to 10,000ft in a SHARED FLIGHT over the Teotihuacán archaeological zone.
    7:30am - Upon landing, the traditional ceremony will take place, where they will make a toast with the pilot and give them their flight certificates.

  • San Juan Teotihuacan - BREAKFAST IN BUFFET RESTAURANT
    8:30 a.m. -we will go to have breakfast at a classic buffet restaurant in the area

  • Artesanias Premier - TASTING OF TEQUILA PULQUE AND MEZCAL
    Mexicanitzimo 10:00am -You will soak up the culture and knowledge in the obsidian and maguey workshop taught by expert guides and you will enjoy tasting different types of artisan liquors made in Teotihuacán.

  • Piramides de Teotihuacan - VISIT TO TEOTIHUACAN PYRAMIDS
    12:00 pm -If you wish, you will have up to 2 free hours to tour the archaeological zone of Teotihuacán. (Entrance to the archaeological zone not included)
    1:00 pm-we return to CDMX and this experience will end

  • Mexico City - DROP OFF IN MEXICO CITY
    (Only if you hired transportation, otherwise the experience ends when they finish breakfast)
    We will return again to the starting point in Mexico City, or if you prefer we can leave you at the address you like within the Historic Center area, Roma, Condesa, Polanco or Coyoacán (some museum, restaurant, airport or other destination within this area) NO ADDITIONAL COST

Flying in a hot air balloon is quite exciting, enjoy an impressive view of the Teotihucan Pyramids, then you and your companions will enjoy a toast upon landing, closing the morning with an excellent buffet breakfast in a very traditional place.
We will proceed to taste typical drinks of the region Pulque, Tequila and Mezcal and we will admire the work of the artisans of the area.
Then you will have up to two free hours to admire the Teotihuacán Pyramids and finally we will return to Mexico City.
If you like, we can help you with photography and video packages so that you always keep this once-in-a-lifetime adventure in mind, you will see that you and your companions will enjoy it to the fullest.

Amazing experience - We took just the baloon. Ubered in and out from reforma. The baloon ride was like clock work. The pilot was very skilled and the over all experience was very professional

Hot air balloon, and pyramids - One of the best experiences in my life, thank you to all the staff. Eduardo was my driver who picked me up from the hotel, he was on time and friendly and a plus is that he spoke very good English. Which made me feel comfortable, so I can ask him a lot of questions, and he answered all my questions.

What a view up in the sky! - A great trip worth remembering! The driver and guide Lalo is very nice, picked us up and dropped off on time according to our needs. And, of course, this balloon ride just fulfilled our expectations perfectly. The view was beautiful as we ascended into the air!

Balloon flight this morning! - Amazing!!! My brother and I were so impressed with our driver, Adrian. He was an excellent driver and was incredibly friendly and helpful. We met Edwardo, the cinematographer, before taking flight and loved his energy and patience. We can’t say enough good things about the team that worked with us! 10/10 would recommend this experience to others. Thanks for a great time!

Flying over Teotihuacan - Going on a hot air balloon is an incredible experience, the view of the Teotihuacan Valley from above is beautiful. It was a good decision to go at the end of summer, with clear skies and mild air. The guide was very kind during the trip, and the breakfast had a very local flavor, very tasty. We definitely had a great time.

I would return without a doubt, it was very pleasant, as well as congratulating the tour guide due to his knowledge and patience. - I went as a family, I loved it a lot since the guides, as well as the driver, were very good. The tasting of pulque and mezcal included was very pleasant. "The balloon flight was very good", with beautiful views.

Super recommended - It is a wonderful experience!! I think everyone should do it at least once in their life. And traveling with Chilling was excellent, they are very attentive to your needs, they give you excellent advice. Highly recommended!! I would share it a thousand times!!!

Worthwhile morning trip. - We were picked up at our hotel at 5:20am by Eduardo who is a very good driver and had bottled water ready. As we were heading to the site we did see the sunrise so I was a little disappointed we weren’t up in the sky but they also explained the wind wasn’t in our favour so although it was good to go up we wouldn’t be going over the pyramids. This was the same for all hot air balloons - there were about 15-20 going up from different areas. There were maybe 10 people per balloon but didn’t feel crowded. I’m not amazing with heights, but we got in to the basket (you have holes in the side to climb in) with the others (compartments of 2 or 3 people) and the ascent was slow and calm, not windy. I did wear a thick jumper and jeans but I think you’d be fine in shorts, T-shirt and a thin jumper, especially if you go to the pyramids after. The views were amazing and it was definitely an experience I’d do again. There was just two of us for the rest in our car… Breakfast was ok, the location was nice but I think it may have been more interesting to go to the one in the cave instead. The tasting and talk about the different crystals and stone was interesting and the lady was very engaging but I think it could be skipped. We were driven to the pyramids and we paid our entrance fee of $95 pesos each and then we walked around the site. You can’t walk up the pyramid anymore. It was nice as we got there earlier than others. It’s such an impressive site and there is a small museum there with English labels. I think if the driver also did guide work that would have elevated the experience more, or even if an audio tour was provided. Arrived back at midday. So a perfect half day trip if you have to catch flights or have plans from 2pm onwards (you may need a siesta!). They do offer to drop you off elsewhere.
