  • Cava dei Balestrieri - Opened in the nineteenth century for the extraction of the stone necessary for the restoration of Palazzo Pubblico. Today set up for shooting competitions with the large Italian crossbow.
  • City of San Marino - Stop at the panoramic canton to admire the beautiful panorama and short visit to the Tactilia Museum
  • Palazzo Pubblico - Rebuilt in neo-gothic style in 1894 to a design by architect Francesco Azzurri, on the foundations of the oldest “Magna Domus Communis”, it was restored in 1996 by the architect Gae Aulenti. The people of San Marino recognize in this place where the Captains Regent, the Great and General Council, the State Congress and the most important civil demonstrations are based.

Enjoyable Walking Tour with Excellent Guide! - I very much enjoyed my walking tour of San Marino! Sara was an excellent guide and shared San Marino’s history with me. She was quite knowledgeable and was willing to answer all my questions. We walked around the historical center on San Marino and then up to Tower #1. Sara made suggestions for things to visit after the tour and I enjoyed all of those. This tour is a great introduction to San Marino!

Sara is 1st rate!!! - Sara did a wonderful job, bringing to life the rich culture and history of the people and land of San Marino. Culturally and linguistically, the people of San Marino are Italian. But, they have a wonderful spirit of fierce independence and giving, that is all their own. We not only saw that, in the historical buildings, and documents, but FELT it, throughout the tour. Thank you, Sara.

I'd take this tour AGAIN - I loved our guide. Just my mom and I with her. She went slow, answered questions and really showed us all the best parts of the city. If anything I just wish there was an even longer option. Sarah was amazing confirming prior and giving us a great tour.
