“Excellent window into Mexico’s history and culture - Marcos (our guide) and Roberto (our driver) made a great team, navigating some intense city traffic to share a wealth of insights about three must-visit sites so important to Mexico’s history and culture. There were bonus stops, for a pulque & mescal tasting (and yes, it was a souvenir shopping opportunity, but a rather tasty, educational, no-pressure situation) and also at a restaurant for lunch. Squeezing all this in made lunch rather late, so bring some snacks! Wish we’d had a bit more time to explore the vastness of Teotihuacan, but Tlaltelolco and the Virgin of Guadalupe holy sites were high on our list so it was amazing to visit them all in one day.
