Great day in San Juan - Great tour! Jose shared great info about the island & its rich history. Carlos was an excellent driver and Maria coordinated all of the parts beautifully! Would definitely recommend this tour!

Loiza, A Celebration of Afro-Puerto Rican Culture - Since we had been to San Juan previously, our tour guides from Where to Go PR personalized our tour so that we could spend our time in Loíza, an area near San Juan that celebrates African culture in Puerto Rico. We spent some time visiting the studio of Raul Ayala, an artist who makes coconut masks that protect the people from evil spirits. We also spent time in the studio/home of Samuel Lind. All of the artworks were dramatic, colorful and full of meaning from the Yoruba culture of the enslaved Africans that were brought over to the Caribbean islands. Thanks to our guides, this was a wonderful experience!

Good for Families and Couples - Jose does a great job and he clearly loves the history of the island. He is a friendly and funny guy, and he gave us a lot of information about the distant and recent past of Puerto Rico

Great cultural tour with Alex - Alex was a great tour guide. He was the right mix of culture, history, and current events. He catered to us. It was the right mix of walking, talking, and photos. We were allowed to browse at our own pace. His designated bathroom stops were clean and well-timed. If you are looking for a private and personal tour, Alex is your man. The food we ate in Loiza was fresh and authentic.

Best overall tour of San Juan - We had a short time in Puerto Rico and this was one of the best tours to give us a comprehensive view of San Juan and its many neighborhoods including Condado, old San Juan, Santurce, t mobile and finally Loiza. We didn’t have a car and this was the next best thing . Our guide Jose was gracious and shared with us the history of San juan

A Day of Fun - I will make this review short and sweet, Jose and his wife Marie are AMAZING. I did not let the only 2 reviews (at the time of my booking)discourage me. This power couple made me feel like family. I felt safe and at home. The tour was just what I wanted for a full day to explore Puerto Rico. Jose is native to PR and his wife is from Canada but you could not tell. Her knowledge of PR might put Jose to shame lol. This is a air condition van tour which is GREAT! Because it was hotttt. They were punctual with pick up and did not hesitate to stop for photo opps. If you are looking to explore Puerto Rico in comfort and still get an authentic experience book them. Their agenda is to ensure you have a wonderful time in PR.

Excellent tour!! Lots in a short time!! - I was wondering how we were going to do so much in a short period of time but we did. Jose was a fantastic tour guide. I highly recommend!! Feeding the fish was super fun. I got to see parts of San Juan I would have never seen.

Well Rounded Tour and Foodie Paradise! - This experience blended Old and New San Juan and introduced traditions that were complete delight to all senses! Spirited filled tour ride complete with a history of the music and live instruments to join in on the fun. And for the foodies you definitely want to head over to Louiza!!! Jose and Marie were the best! Great Tour!

Very disappointed - 1) The driver Faraon was under the impression that the tour was 3 hours. Viator lists the tour duration as 4 hours 2) We did not receive a bottle water as listed on Viator 3) The Public beach was skipped over and we didn't go back until I said something. 4) I felt the entire tour was rushed and was very disappointed. 5) in the future Jose should do his own tours OR Cancel and allow people to choice other options. He should under NO circumstances send a substitute to complete his tour. 6) I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS TOUR based on what I experienced .

Pickup service may mean backup tour - Disappointing, primarily due to poor timing by their pick up driver. I was told to be ready by 12:00, I called at 12:30 to make sure the pick up driver didn’t forget me, then received 5 subsequent calls beginning 12:54, that the driver would be at my hotel in “20 mins”, then it was “5 mins”, next it was “10 mins”, and so on! At 1:45 I received a text from driver that he was “1 min” away, which was soon followed by “7 mins”. I was finally picked up at a little after 2. It was then that I learned I wouldn’t be connecting with the tour that I signed and paid for, but would be part of a substitute tour provided by the pick up driver, that really consisted of a road tour with stops for photos. I suspect my tour was overbooked, and thus, those who signed up for pick up, got back up service. So yes, it was disappointing!
