Highlights
  • Puente Atirantado Naranjito - Join me for an authentic trek through the woods, carved and established by me personally. This excursion is NOT located in the El Yunque rainforest. Instead, it’s a path in the heart of Puerto Rico leading to an awe-inspiring 130-foot waterfall. THIS HIKE IS NOT FOR BEGINNERS, yet it’s not exceedingly difficult either. This might be the ONLY tour where you experience everything. The 8-hour, intimate group hiking journey will expose you to the mountains, the rural areas of the island, the culture, savor local dishes, mingle with the residents, swim in waterfalls, and trek through the forest, among other activities. On our way to the magnificent waterfall, we’ll encounter natural pools where you can dive in for a refreshing swim. We’ll conclude our exciting day at a native eatery where you can indulge in regional specialties (at your own cost).

Additional Information

Embark on an adventure through Puerto Rico’s waterfalls, where you’ll explore the scenic mountains, experience the island’s countryside, as well as immerse yourself in its unique culture and local delicacies. Traverse comfortably in a 14-seater air-conditioned van, as you journey 1700 feet above sea level into the Puerto Rican mountains (an approximate 35-45 minute drive from San Juan).

Prepare for the day’s crowning moment, a 130-foot waterfall, veiled from many visitors and known predominantly by locals. Expect the trail towards it to last between 40-60 minutes, dependent on your physical readiness. It should be noted, this IS NOT A Hike for beginners, that being said, it’s not overwhelmingly challenging either. It truly encapsulates what one hopes for in a genuine woodland hike.

Post hike, we will introduce you to a traditional Puerto Rican restaurant where you can enjoy a meal (self-funded). After satisfying your appetite and paying your bill, we’ll provide a safe drive back to your lodging.
