Embark on a journey to the magical beach caves that were once the home of the Taino Indians, filled with age-old petroglyphs and a captivating beach cave on the western side of Puerto Rico. Wear shoes with covered toes as we venture on an exciting expedition through the heart of Puerto Rico’s vibrant history and breathtaking landscapes. Note that the entrance might not be ideal for individuals with claustrophobia.
We’ll make stops at 7 arches during our hike to the cave, allowing us to revel in its stunning views, an ideal spot for capturing memorable photographs.
From the sculptures inside the Taino Cave to the beach of La Poza del Obispo, a locals’ favorite spot featuring a beautiful pool shielded by an uniquely shaped reef! Don’t forget to bring your goggles as we will get a chance to observe fish! Here, we will unwind and marvel at the refreshing beauty of the water. We will also enjoy the taste of traditional Puerto Rican street food before returning to our endpoint.
