Additional Information

Scuba Dogs is recognized as a PADI 5-Star Dive Center and stands as the sole certified operator equipped with a full range of diving gear, amenities like restrooms and showers, secure lockers, and a team of expert staff located directly at the Marine Park.

The scuba excursion on offer for those holding diving certifications is particularly OUTSTANDING due to it being a shallow water dive, not exceeding 30 feet in depth. This enables participants to safely enjoy the underwater experience without the worry of decompression sickness; practice essential diving techniques and achieve neutral buoyancy within the confines of a sheltered bay area; and come face-to-face with an eclectic mix of marine life including yellowtail snappers, damselfish, stingrays, and turtles. Moreover, the dive allows for the exploration of varied underwater terrains such as an age-old fish wall, an array of statues and roman columns, remnants of shipwrecks, and vibrant coral reef ecosystems.

Following an elaborate narrative regarding the site’s historical and environmental significance, participants go through a comprehensive theoretical briefing on diving science, coupled with preliminary skill exercises in the shallows near the shore. This precedes the guided tour throughout the bay, all while under the watchful eye of an experienced diving instructor.

Amazing dives and even better service - Samir helped me at the shop and I dove with both Dale and Manolo. Incredible service all around! They were friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the area. We were able to see turtles, barracuda, lionfish, even an octopus. Scuba Dogs is safe and reputable, and the people are so kind - I wouldn’t consider diving with any other company in PR!

Easy refresher dive - My daughter and ai had a great time scuba diving in a very easy and safe environment. It was perfect since I had bot dove in close to three years. I walked away more confident and excited for our next Scuba adventure.

Thank Goodness for Scuba Dogs - Excellent service and the staff were super kind. My dives with Sea Ventures were cancelled and I was very bummed at the possibility of not being able to dive in Puerto Rico, until I came to Scuba Dogs. They made sure that I could get in the water and dive before my wife and I left the island.

Great value for a morning adventure - Keep your expectations in check. It is a walk in dive that include about a 5 step staircase with your 50lbs of gear on. I don't think I was ever more than 20feet down so decompressing is not an issue. you do get to go home and tell your friends you went scuba diving in PR!

Nice Scuba experience for a shore dive with very good dive master. Would Return again. - TLDR: small dive shop at a protected water park. Good scuba dive master. Good experience. Would go again. The story: Three of us were staying at the Caribe Hilton and read about Scuba Dogs which is basically a 5-minute walk from our hotel. There is a protected snorkeling park behind it with small man-made structures, reef balls, and statues scattered around. There was a surprisingly good amount of marine life considering how many people snorkel there. For $80 you can do a 1 tank scuba dive using their equipment with a dive master who takes you out past the barrier to see the area outside. We arrived at 1045 for our 11 am one tank dive. It looks like this location sees a lot of foot traffic snorklers, but their SCUBA equipment is acceptable, although their BCDs do not have integrated weights so I had to wear a weight belt for the first time while diving. My back started hurting toward the end of the dive. They had to call the dive master in from home – I guess someone dropped the ball on that one – no big deal, we hung around and talked. Our Dive master, Samual
