An adventurous way to explore the rainforest - We had so much fun on this adventure. Mimi was very communicative and easy to work with. Our guide Kelly was fabulous. With kids or people unable to hike, climb, or move easily in/out of water could possess a challenge. Our group of 4 adults are avg age of 50. Physically fit and active. We loved it. Such a fun and unique way to explore PR

A fun experience in pure “nature”. - Mimi and Kelly were quite amazing, knowledgeable and friendly. Mimi was good at coordinating, communities clearly and even provided me with an alternative form of transportation as I was solo-travelling and I hadn’t rented a car. Kelly was our tour guide. She took us through the forest, down the stream, to a cave and back up. The location itself was quite scenic and breathtaking. It’s not a well-known destination, I think. I didn’t see anyone else besides our group, it felt even more unique. Kelly explained the local flora and fauna, the history behind how certain species ended up on the island, how certain sections of the island were formed. Safety wise, I and a couple of others who hadn’t prior swimming experience, felt really safe. She guided us through the tricky spots and made it a fun experience rather than a scary ride. Will definitely go back for this tour again.

Off the beaten path - Absolutely a must do if you enjoy adventure, being away from crowds, and being in water. Mimi was in communication to help us with any questions/concerns we had. We loved our time with Kelly. She was so much fun and knowledgeable guide. We felt very safe with her. The area is breathtaking. So beautiful. It did take a couple of tries to figure out how to body raft but lots of laughs as we learned. It will be helpful if you’re in shape. There is a moderate amount of hiking/climbing. If you struggle with mobility or balance this might not be for you. This is over an hour drive from San Juan far away from people. (One of the things we loved about it) The only thing that would have made this better is being able to body raft for the whole day. Such a fun experience. Can’t wait until we get our photos from the day.

Amazing time - I had an incredible experience right from the beginning. Kelly provided us with insightful knowledge about Puerto Rico's natural beauty and the importance of preserving it. The tour was an absolute blast, and the scenery was breathtaking—I'd gladly do it all over again. Just a tip: remember to wear long sleeves as it can get quite chilly.

A float thru paradise - Once in a lifetime experience! Kelly was an amazing guide and knew so much about the landscape, geography and history of the island and the river. Definitely recommend taking this journey as long as you're in pretty good shape! The hike down and the body rafting in the clear cool river was pretty easy and a lot of fun, the hike back out is pretty difficult for inexperienced hikers. Don't pass on this experience it was amazing!

Unique Experience/Excellent Service! - Completely unique experience exploring the rainforest with just a few people! We were so impressed with Mimi's knowledge and experience of the rainforest, navigation through the river and body rafting, and the hike up and down the mountainside to the river. The hike/body rafting tour is on private property in the middle of the rainforest with no cell service so we met at a bakery nearby then followed her the rest of the way up the winding road to the cottage. Be physically fit as you will hike (no hiking sticks needed) and you will be wet for 2/3 of the excursion, with at least 1/3 submerged in ankle deep to waist deep water, depending on if you're traversing through the river bed or laying flat floating. You do get a few bumps against the rock and may come home with a little bruise on your behind, but it's not enough to miss this experience. Wear shoes with good grip and don't try to bring anything (unless you have a Go Pro). Mimi has a Go Pro and will take photos of you, fyi. Lastly, I can't personally thank Mimi enough for getting us a rental car; our rental through Priceline we were told did not exist upon arrival and all rental companies were out of cars due to the holiday weekend! Mimi made a call in the morning and with her magic, they found us a car to rent within 30 minutes. Very happy we didn't miss this tour. Thanks again!

Awesome adventure! - My husband planned this excursion as one of several 50th birthday surprises for me on our trip to Puerto Rico. Since I'm 50 I was hoping that he didn't plan something that would be too difficult for me to do, physically, but we did great and had an amazing time! If you go on this excursion, follow their instructions about exactly what to wear! We did follow the instructions, but there was a younger couple on the trip with us that did not follow the clothing instructions and just wore shorts and tank tops, and they were miserable! You'll understand why you need to wear the proper clothing once you go, but just trust me! Kelly was our guide, and she was awesome! She was so knowledgeable and friendly. Mimi, the owner, was the one who helped with scheduling, and she met us at a designated spot so we could all caravan together to the nature reserve, which is not on the map. Mimi was so kind and helpful. Lunch was also included, which was really nice, and we were starving after we got back from the hike. It was relaxing and fun hanging out with everyone who went on the hike eating lunch together once we were back at the little house. If you're wanting to experience the beautiful rainforest surrounded by nature in Puerto Rico, this is a great way to do it. So glad we had this experience!

River float - We did this tour as a family. We had to get our own rental car to get to the place but the tour company assisted with the booking and made sure we got their corporate rate. During this tour, you will float down a fairly shallow river. You will hit some rocks. It’s advisable to wear long-sleeved clothes for that reason. This tour is not good for people with back issues. Overall, we enjoyed the tour but it was not easy.
