As a nomadic surfer, my life is usually spent chasing the perfect wave, but every now and then, I find myself drawn to the cultural heartbeats of the places I visit. This time, my journey took me to the Mirador Ram Luna, perched high above the mountains overlooking the Central Valley of San José. The promise of a folkloric night filled with traditional Costa Rican music, dance, and cuisine was too tempting to resist.

As I made my way back down the mountain, I couldn’t help but feel grateful for the opportunity to experience such a unique and enriching cultural event.
