On this expedition, you’ll experience the National Theater, fondly called “The jewel of San José”, a representation of Costa Rican artistic and architectural creativity concluded in 1897. Following that, looking around the Museum of Gold and the thriving Central Market will let you immerse yourself in Costa Rican culture and customs, offering a chance to purchase remarkable local handicrafts. The itinerary includes a stop at the grand Metropolitan Cathedral. As we navigate the landscape of the city, we would draw your attention to a number of historically significant structures in our city such as The Costa Rica University, The Old Train Station, The National Liquor Factory, The National Supreme Election Bureau, the Asamblea Legislativa, The Metallic Building, a number of parks and multiple points of interest. This tour will serve as an orientation to our capital city, shedding light on our economic scenario, cultural practices, political structure, religious beliefs and current affairs.
