Fun day tour - Amazing trip! It is a far drive and a short trip, but I did feel it was worth it. We saw tons of cool birds, little monkeys, a sloth and her little baby, and a few other tropical animals. The beach was gorgeous. We could have spent all day there but the 2hrs we had was enough to experience it.

Paradise where the ocean meets the jungle. - Manuel Antonio is a dream-like place where the jungle meets the ocean. It is a "must see" for nature and wildlife enthusiasts with such beauty and a myriad of wildlife species. There is plenty of "hiking" to be done, be it stairs and a well-maintained asphalt trail, my legs got quite a workout. Watch out for three species of monkeys, two different kinds of sloths and a ton of butterflies and birds! I'd like to spend a few days here!

Long ride, but beautiful beaches - Long ride from San Jose but was worth it especially due to the length of my trip & after visiting Tamarindo Beach. Manuel Antonio beaches are nicer. Wish I saw more sloths but the seeing the monkeys was awesome.

The trip to get there was... - The trip to get there was too long! 5,5 hours to get there in heavy traffic 4,5 hours to get back. 10 hours trip in a van was painfully long. Somewhat disappointed by the lack of wildlife sightings.

Great beach. - I would like to start with the fact that this rating might be more specific towards my day. Traffic was horrible. A normal 3 ish hr drive took 6 or 7 hrs. When we got to the beach, we only had 1 hr before they closed the beach. What I liked: the beach was amazing. It is a private beach (inside national park) and they were strict about no plastic so it’s very clean. What I didn’t like, breakfast was at a busy tourist buffet. Food was meh. Lunch (by the time we got there was dinner time) was a fancier resort/hotel restaurant but the food was also ok, and I don’t think it’s Costa Rican cuisine. The time spent and the restaurants were almost double the time we got to spend on the beach. We had to skip the crocodile river spot because we were already running behind.

My experience for Antonio park was bad - My husband is a seizure patient and he has to have water at all times, in the park we were told to throw away our water bottles and only resusable water bottles were allowed. No where in the tour guidelines it was mentioned, due to extreme hot and humid weather my husband got a mild seizure and we could not enjoy the park or the beach. Plus the drive to the hotel was also 5 hours away, we had a terrible experience with this particular tour. We booked lapaz waterfalls and sarapiqui river cruise from viator also. But manuel Antonio park was a big disaster, I would really appreciate if our money for me and my husband would be refunded back to our account. Pls reply us back ASAP. Thanks🙏

Bad use of time - Several hours on the way on the Bus 6:00AM to 1:30 PM We had only one hour on the beach. From 2:00 -3:00. We were Kicked off the beach at the 3:00 by Park staff. Our Tour guide did not share. This happens every day. Don’t waste your time on this.
