Fun and informative - This experience was very informative. It was fun tasting chocolate at different stages as well as making our own chocolate bars. We made four chocolate bars (2 for me and 2 for my husband). There was a variety of toppings. We also toasted the end of the experience with a traditional Costa Rican chocolate drink. My only feedback is to have a clear sign outside labeling the address. When we arrived it just looked like a regular house until Mauricio came outside signaled for us to come in.

Great experience for chocolate fans - It was a great experience to start at the beginning of the chocolate process by sampling the cacao and being able to create our own dark chocolate bars. Would recommend for those who are chocolate fans and want to leave with a custom creation.

Do you think you couldn’t love chocolate any more than you do? Oh ho ho ho… try this! - Just awesome. Luci and Mauricio are passionate about chocolate: taste, history (local and global), culture (Luci is an anthropologist), process of creating and sharing it with those of us lucky enough to find our way into their cozy “lab” kitchen (non descript residential house with a yellow gate). We had kids 4 to 13 in our class, 6 adults. Everyone had a big time. Raise a glass of cool cacao to the wonders of chocolate!

Best chocolate cooking class! - Mauricio and Lucia are deeply knowledgeable and passionate, and have a wonderful way of inviting people into the amazing history of chocolate and cacao. We went with our 10 and 13 year olds, learned a ton and all had an absolute blast making our own chocolate bars - AND they are delicious. Everything about this experience is so well done. Highly highly recommend. (The location looks like a residential neighborhood, but the yellow gate is easy to spot - Mauricio was also outside welcoming us even before we were out of the cab). Go to this - you’ll be so glad you did!

Tiber chocolat. - The instruction was very good. Small group good explanations, excellent chocolate. Very good presentation, pleasant personality. The meeting place instructions were not good my Uber driver could not find it and I wandered around the neighborhood for nearly an hour before I found it, particularly since there is no sign and the address did not make sense. Several people offered help but no one in area had heard of it.
