Noonan family rocked the cook out with Francisco. - Francisco is an amazing person, teacher and cook. What a fantastic excursion especially for a family or small group of friends. Well worth the money. So much fun. Food was amazing. Carnitas. Bomb. Best ever Get ready to get your cook on and your margarita drinking on. Everything is made from scratch!!! 4.5 hour excursion from the time you meet Francisco at the market to shop for all of your meat and veggies.

Worth Every Penny - Educational. Entertaining. Delicious. Francisco is very entertaining to listen to as you learn about the foods you choose to prepare the meal and the different meaning of the foods to different regions. You will be fed well and feel good when you are done.

EXCELLENT - MUST DO! - Excellent! What an experience to learn about how to pick out the best produce, and meat to make our meal. Our tour started at the local farmers market. Upon arrival, Franciso asked us about any food allergies. I'm not sure if he asked about preferences but I explained I had a sensitive stomach and did not like onions and peppers. I think everyone thought that I was crazy for being at a Mexican cooking class. My husband is the one that likes to cook and be both like Mexican food. He was able to make me a very tasty salsa and guacamole before onions were added! We also had a quick stop at the local tortilla factory which included a sample of a fresh hot tortilla. The best! We then went to Francisco's warm inviting home where we first started with how to make a hibiscus margarita. Why don't they offer more of those in the US?! We created a EXCELLENT meal of homemade tortilla's, rajas poblanos - an equivalent to the American green bean casserole but much better and made with roasted poblano peppers, corn, creama, garlic cloves and onions, tomatillo sauce, salsa, guacamole and pork carnitas. This was the best Mexican meal that I have ever had!! I definitely learned a lot. I think my husband was surprised at the flavor with out having the onions and peppers in my salsa and guac. I even tried the rajas poblanos, of course without onions and peppers, it was good. It would be fun to recreate with just the corn. Thank you Franciso for one of the best experiences from Trip Advisor!

Market Trip and Meal Prep - Fun and Informative - Chef Francisco treated our little group to an outstanding trip through the market to gather ingredients for a spectacular Posole. We learned about some of his criteria as he selected his produce and then picked up many tips on the preparation while we prepared the meal together. It was really quite a lot of fun and the snacks and meal were excellent. We love the business model with the local chefs offering their family traditions. Whether back in San Jose Del Cabo or elsewhere, we will seek out experiences like this in the future. To Francisco and his sous chef, Angel, thanks for a great day!

Too long. Lots of time waiting - 6 hours, too long. Lots of wasted time waiting. The food was great but we could have done the same thing in 3hours.

Bad experience - I had a horrible experience. I went to the class in Cobo San Lucas one mile from my hotel and was told the class was 25 miles away. They could not take me because they had 11 people and it was supposed to be a class of 6. Viator changed my reservation from Wednesday to Thursday. I am out the money plus the upset of the day. I plan to post this on your website
