Story telling with a local guide: A unique outdoor experience learning the historical highlights of Los Cabos and the Californian peninsula.
This tour is part of a community project. This tour is part A of a 2 part Tour.
In this 1.5 hour sightseeing tour (1 mile, wheelchair and stroller friendly), we will walk and learn about the history, culture and legends such as the peninsula`s geology, how the natives lived, how colonization took place, about thieves, the San Jose del Cabo mission church. Part B for another day we cover the battle at the main square, hotels, famous celebrities and more.
Starting on Álvaro Obregón Street in heart of the Art District (downtown San José del Cabo). Reservation required.
Group size:
There are 15 spots max available on this experience.You don’t have to fill all of them. Experiences are meant to be social, so other travelers could join too.
You can join the tour even if you are alone. so if you have trouble booking online just give us a call.

Look for a small courtyard and coffee shop next to Corsica Gallery. There is a 1 foot diameter wooden sign hanging on the sidewalk that says "CaboCityTours.com".

Excellent evening tour - We had an excellent evening tour with Kristian. We learned a lot about the history and natural features of the area. He was very personable and told interesting stories while showing us the town, including some “hidden” features. His deep local knowledge made it special.

Definitely do this experience - This was a wonderful experience. Our guide was very knowledgeable and I didn't realize half the cost goes to teaching young people the history of the area as a way of heritage preservation. The stories were really fascinating. This experience was well worth the cost.

A Great Historical Overview - This tour provides a wealth of information about San Jose del Cabo's history. Our guide was very knowledgeable and helped us understand local stories in a memorable way. Among other features, his overview explored a general history of the Pericu people, helped us understand the significance of a number of native plants, and provided insight into the fusion of cultures yet existent in this city.

Great way to learn about Los Cabos - Kristian was super knowledgeable, friendly and professional. We learned a lot and gained a deeper understanding of the people and history of Los Cabos. We took the 9am tour and had the day to further explore on our own.

Outstanding Walking Tour - An excellent tour. Our guide Chris was very knowledgeable of the history of the area, local plants, and architecture. Of particular interest to me was that he shared his passion for San Jose del Cabo and his desire to ensure its beauty and integrity.
