Highlights
  • Jungle Splash Eco tours - During the tour, you will see three different waterfalls and will have the option to swim and cliff jump from each.

The Un-Named waterfall:

Pools upon pools of crystal clear waters falling onto one another, the un-named waterfall is never the same, but ever changing. The high calcium deposit that runs through this fall calcifies fallen leaves, twigs, and even living ferns that dare to lounge upon the cool flowing waters.

The Twin Falls:

While the Twin-falls both cut a course through the same granite barrier, they stand boldly apart in both size and features.

Rio-Frio Waterfall:

The Rio-Frio waterfall is the ideal waterfall to bathe under! Untouched waters tumble off a cliff of approximately 75Ft high and into a large open pool, ideal for bathing and splashing into. And don’t forget to lookout for wildlife in this vast lush rainforest!

Best Day in Belize! - We took our family of 5 (kids ages 11, 9, 5) on the river pontoon boat and out of 10 days in Belize, it was our absolute favorite experience! The boat ride was smooth and easy with plenty of shade, the surroundings were stunning, the swimming and waterfalls were great, and we had a ton of fun jumping off the boat and on the rope swing. Each part of the tour just kept adding on the fun! The guides were incredible - they each took special care to teach us about the area and made extra efforts to make sure the group was comfortable and having fun all day. They were super knowledgeable and helpful - plus they were really kind and hilarious. Floyd was a great driver and took great videos for us on the rope swing and Nadir was awesome about getting us the best experiences at each stop. Rueben was super nice and knew a lot of cool info about the Cayo region - and so the rest of the crew was awesome too. Can’t rec this pontoon adventure enough, total highlight of the trip!

Please read in entirety - First I'd like to say that this does require a bit of dexterity. The road is long. And bumpy. And you have to walk across rocks in places. And through water. And the second thing I'd like to point out is that you aren't in the US. In the US red flags would be raised regarding safety. (Nothing serious - just seat belts that didn't work, and some pretty rough roads). But no one was hurt. And we had a wonderful time! We saw a part of Belize that we would never have otherwise seen on our own. The falls were beautiful, the tour guide, Nadair, was great. So if you have read this far, please remember these points and keep a positive attitude during the trip. It is worth it.

Fun Day on the River - The road to get to the river was quite the adventure but that was part of the fun. The pontoon boat is a big double decker boat. We had about 20 people on the boat with us. The staff were all very nice. The waterfall adventures were fun. The homemade lunch was one of the best meals we had on our trip. This is a fun thing to do!!

Wonderful Unique Experience, Beautiful Scenery - This was an incredible experience! The scenery was absolutely beautiful. Our driver, Nadir, picked us up from our hotel in San Ignacio and we had a blast in the car. It was a long, bumpy drive, but he made it so much fun and allowed us to take turns playing music and we all sang along and got to know each other. When we arrived at the boat, we met Gio who was our other guide and chef. The food was great and felt like a home cooked meal. The weather wasn't so great for us, a little on the chilly side, but Nadir and Gio made sure we still got the full experience. They encouraged us to swim despite the cold, and I'm glad they did as it was definitely a unique experience we wouldn't have wanted to miss out on. They even showed us how to climb up one of the waterfalls and taught us a lot about the area. They were both very friendly and knew how to keep us all entertained. LOVED this tour and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to get off the beaten path.

Great pontoon tour, but the transport time is long. - Although we loved the pontoon, the drive to and from was alot longer than was described. It ended up being a 9 1/2 hour tour, not the 4-8 hours that is listed. I would suggest you update the description. The crew is amazing, the water falls were wonderful. The fresh cooked food was fabulous. Just be prepared to be gone a very long time
