Highlights
  • Nohoch Che’en Caves Branch Archaeological Reserve - This excursion is typically paired with another half-day activity, such as the Xunantunich Ruins tour. Please inform us in advance if you are accompanied by children or individuals who cannot swim.

Wade through the crystal-clear waters of the Caves Branch River, which usually reaches waist height. Following the river crossing, the journey continues with a walk upstream along a forest path. As you move through the natural environment, your guide will highlight notable features of the surrounding plant and animal life - a great opportunity to use your camera (water-resistant ones are recommended).

When you reach the starting point for tubing, your guide will instruct you on the necessary safety procedures for getting on and navigating your tube. For those seeking a thrill, you can jump or plunge into the water from a nearby rock. Your guide will then lead you on a tubing adventure through a network of caves that intermittently open to the sun and the jungle above. In instances where the river’s flow is strong, participants will be linked together with ropes in a line formation to prevent separation. Throughout the journey, your guide will also point out ancient Maya relics nestled in the cave walls.

Fabulous Combo Tour -zip line and caves! - Our family did a combo tour with Pedro! It was wonderful! Started out at Calico Jacks for zip lining and a big swing! Added more zip lines because it was amazing! Headed to cave tubing with Pedro as our guide! He even let us jump off a small cliff into a sink hole in the cave! Fabulous! A must do while in Belize!

Xunantunich and Cave Tubing - Tony was the best tour guide we could have ever hoped for on our Xunan and Cave Tubing tour! He was incredibly knowledgeable, so kind and made sure we had the absolute best experience. Of all of my international tour guides, Tony was the best, so if you want the best excursion, book with Go Maya and ask for Tony, he will make your trip as memorable as he did ours.

James and GoMaya are a must! - We were lucky enough to use Go Maya during our recent stay in San Ignacio. We did 2 tours, and also 2 transfers with Go Maya and each were great. Our tour guide James, who was with us for our cave tubing and zip-lining and also our transfer to Placencia may be one of the most knowledgeable, fun, and best people that my girlfriend and I have ever met. He went out of his way to make us comfortable, and make the tour special for us. James took us to out of the way spots during our tour that no other guide was doing, or seemed to know about, and he really made our trip so much more than it would have been. He was not only our tour guide, but now a friend as well. If you are in the area, use Go Maya, and ask for James, you won't regret it!
