Fantastic experience and high professionalism - Being a Sommelier, as part of a planned wine tourism tour, last 26 April 2024, I participated in the "Top Masterclass" (cost 65 Euros per person) of the "Vernaccia di San Gimignano Wine Experience", whose guided tastings are held in the beautiful location which is the Rocca di Montestaffoli, which I believe is the highest point in San Gimignano. I was welcomed with great courtesy and helpfulness, despite arriving slightly late. I found great professionalism on the part of the two Sommeliers who managed everything, both during the technical tasting of the six wines provided (accompanied by a platter of local cured meats and cheeses, bruschetta with oil, bread, breadsticks, tarallini and cantuccini), and in the illustration of the wine-growing area of San Gimignano and its history, but also in the fun interactive lesson to introduce and distinguish the aromas of the wines of this area (basically the Vernaccia di San Gimignano and the San Gimignano Rosso). A fantastic experience, absolutely to be recommended, perhaps even choosing shorter and less expensive solutions, such as the "Easy Wine Tasting" (30 Euro) or the "Superior Wine Tasting" (40 Euro)! San Gimignano, as well as for the beauty of its medieval and Renaissance places, its towers, its monuments, its museums, also deserves to be known for the winemaking excellence of its territory!

Superior wine tasting - Great fun experience , would highly recommend it. We had the superior experience 5 wines and matching food. Really great sommelier.

Taste local wines, enjoy the suset view, and learn about the wine. - Local wines were tested and explained by two knowledgeable hosts at great location short walk from piazza. Learned so much about the wines and the area they are grown. A great evening and stayed for extra glasses.

You are not going to be disappointed - The experience was perfect and well balanced. Very professional it's OK if you don't know anything or if you know a lot.

Excellent tasting with food - Had a great tasting, it was just the 2 of us. 6 generous glasses of wine and more food than we expected. On the pricier end of the tastings we did but we really enjoyed our time. (When you arrive and the place is opened up go inside and let them know you're there because we were sat outside for a while assuming everyone up there was waiting for the tasting).

We highly recommend, La Vernaccia di San Gimignano Wine Experience! - Having not long landed, we had the best introduction to the region and its wines! We felt very welcome, very informed, and quite squiffy by the end of the tasting, though still managed to squeeze in a full glass of one of the wines we tasted whilst overlooking the stunning views to complete our visit. We highly recommend, La Vernaccia di San Gimignano Wine Experience.

Absolutely worth doing this wine tour 💜🍷 - And it was just us two 😎 and Francesco our guide, it was  beyond fabulous 🍷💜!! Francesco showed us & we smelled the various spices & naturally grown flavors from San Gimignano. We started sampling wines which were incredible 🍷 along with cheeses, meats, breads and biscotti ! Francesco also explained how the various wines interact with different foods ! Amazingly Delicious Afterwards we walked DOWN DOWN to the main town squares, found wine purveyors and bought some of our new favorites 💜🍷

A lovely wine experience - We enjoyed five lovely wines. The views and tasting were wonderful. Our sommelier was knowledgeable and the food pairings were perfect.

Excellent Experience! - We did the Master class, which started with a guided tour of the Vernaccia museum and ended with a tasting of six wines with food pairing. There were only four people in our group (max is 12) so it was a very intimate experience. Although I am very into wine, I knew nothing about this varietal before the tasting so I learned a lot. Clearly, a lot of thought goes into the tasting and food pairings. If you’re interested in wine (especially whites) and in San G., this is a must do!

Not wirth the price and pretty short - The guide was very fast and the tasting was nit 2 hours like descripted it was 5 minutes and we were not able to bux any wine. The wines which were selected were very good.
