Great wine tour! - What a great experience we had on this tour. My sister and I had our first sister trip to San Francisco and were so glad we booked this tour. Anthony was our guide and did an amazing job. He was the perfect guide for our group - kept it interesting with all his information, humor, and thoughtfulness. Met the best group of fellow tourist to share the day with. Highly recommend taking this tour if you have the opportunity.

Outstanding experience in the wine county - This one was exceptional experience. I would recommend everyone looking for a trip from SF to Napa Valley to book this intimate experience. There are many reasons to book this trip as opposed to large group trips of 40-50 people: 1. Wine tasting should be a intimate and personal experience and with group of just 12-13 people you will have an excellent opportunity to interact and learn from winemakers. 2. We personally made some friends along the way as it was small group. 3. Our driver Anthony exceptional in all the sense. Even before starting our way to Napa he took us to some of the popular destinations in SF which were not a part of itinerary. He was passionate, funny, and certainly knows the area well. 4. All the wineries we visited were great. 5. This trip offers pick up from range of hotels around SF as opposed to other trips which start at one or two points. Super convenient. Everything said..book it without thinking twice. Why would anyone travel in large groups if the prices are same for a small group tour like this.

The BEST day! - The absolute best day visiting Sonoma wineries with my husband! The three wineries we visited are wonderful, learned so much about wine making. We also enjoyed a delicious lunch at the Red Grape in Sonoma Plaza. Fantastic pizza and salad! We loved being picked up and dropped off. It is so nice not having to drive, which allowed us the ability to just relax and enjoy the day. After spending a ton of time researching other tours, so happy we chose this one. We will certainly use Edge of the World Tours again next time we are back visiting San Francisco. Our tour guide, Marc is excellent and so knowledgeable. He is also very funny, which adds to the experience. HIGHLY recommend this tour! This is the one to book! Cheers!!

Informative, relaxed and interesting guide (Anthony) and a very enjoyable day all round. - We liked the fact that it was a small group (13 of us) and a comfortable mini bus. We visited two vineyards and one winery/tasting room. First vineyard was very small scale (peter cellars, 5 acres)and had a great sommelier in Tyler but the owner Peter didn’t speak to us! It was a very rustic, simple setting and they had even lit fires for us to sit round. We were then taken to Sonama for a lunch break (90 minutes) where we were given good recommendations for lunch (Casa the Mexican restaurant was great) and some nice little shops selling hand made chocolate, ice cream and the like. The second visit to Seamus wines was a winery tasting room rather than a vineyard so not really what I’d expected but it was fine, very relaxed and our guide Tim was pleasant and happy to answer questions. The final, and largest , vineyard, BR Cohn, would have been very picturesque if the weather had been kinder! As it was we were grouped into a rather chilly room where there weren’t enough seats for us all and we were only allowed to try two reds if we gave them our email address! This was the most impersonal of the three and we weren’t that taken with the lady sommelier. Overall very glad we booked with this tour, our fellow guests were an interesting, pleasant group and Anthony did a great job. A sign at the front of the bus encouraged guests to leave a 20% tip which visitors from outside the USA might be surprised at. The wines were fine (California wines aren’t really a favourite tbh!) and you could buy individual bottles ranging in price from $30-$88 a bottle.
