Highlights
  • Fisherman’s Wharf - One of San Francisco’s most popular destinations - from beautiful old shipyards, to Boudin’s Bakery and the smell of fresh clam chowder, and of course, the sea lions of Pier 39, Fisherman’s Wharf has it all.
  • North Beach - Voted as one of the USA’s “ten great neighborhoods”, North Beach is best known as the home of Little Italy. From delicious restaurants to authentic sidewalk cafes and bakeries, you will feel the charm of San Francisco as soon as you arrive.
  • Chinatown - Boasting the largest Chinatown in the United States, this 24-block mecca is bustling with energy, amazing food, and unique and colorful shops that give this area its charm.
  • Pacific Heights - Offering one of the most scenic outlooks in all of Northern California, Pacific Heights is home to Billionaire’s Row, featuring the estates of politicians, tech titans and other San Francisco celebrities (includes Mrs. Doubtfire house!).
  • Presidio of San Francisco - Former military base, now a beautiful park that includes Crissy Field, Fort Point, Lucasfilm’s (George Lucas) headquarters and the Walt Disney Museum.
  • Fort Point National Historic Site - Located just beneath the Golden Gate Bridge, Fort Point gives you a front row seat to the Bay and is a great photo stop. This former military fortification was used during WWII.
  • Golden Gate Bridge - Declared “one of the 10 wonders of the modern world,” the Golden Gate Bridge is one of the most recognized symbols of San Francisco. Simply stunning!
  • Muir Woods National Monument - Muir Woods National Monument is home to some of the oldest and most beautiful trees in the world. Many of our guests consider this stop to be the highlight of their trip.
  • Sausalito - Enjoy a quick and easy break, our guides provide plenty of recommendations for our favorite local spots during your visit. You are sure to fall in love with this quaint little town.
  • Palace of Fine Arts Theatre - Originally built for the 1915 Panama-Pacific Exhibition, this urban temple has become a San Francisco treasure, beloved by residents and visitors alike.
  • Alcatraz Island - If you have selected the Alcatraz option, you will be dropped off at the Alcatraz terminal where you will depart on the ferry to the island. While used as a federal prison between 1933-1966, Alcatraz housed some of the most dangerous criminals of the time, including Al Capone, James “Whitey” Bulger and George “Machine Gun” Kelly. Featuring unbelievable views of the San Francisco peninsula, a visit to the island is essential when in town.

Fantastic tour with a great guide! - Lovely tour for a different view of San Francisco. Our guide, Jake, was fantastic, knowledgeable, and passionate about the city. He showed us around, with various stops on route, and then took us to Muir Woods and Sausalito, both of which are beautiful. He was full of recommendations of where to eat and drink, and he also recommended a great fish and chip shop in Sausalito for lunch. We went with the optional Alcatraz tour, so Jake dropped us at the correct pier and explained where to go. A great tour with an amazing guide.

Great Tour - This was a great trip. Our guide, Per was incredibly knowledgeable and took us to spots we would never have found on our own. It was a cool, rainy day but he made the most of it and we had a great time. We highly recommend this tour.

Great tour - Patrick started off our tour with his sense of humor and knowledge of the area. Got us all involved in music trivia and it was fun to see where everyone was from and start some stiff competition! We got to tour the SF streets- Chinatown, Palace Theater, Golden Gate Bridge and more. Walked 2 miles in the Muir Woods (you can do as much as you want) which was so pretty and peaceful and then on to Sausalito which was packed with restaurants and great bay views. We opted for the Alcatraz tour afterwards which was everything you imagined and have seen in the movies. Wild to BE there. Highly recommend this tour to do it all in 1 day! Signed… ROCHESTER! 😁
