On our nautical exploration trips, you’ll glide under the iconic Golden Gate Bridge, navigate the San Francisco shoreline, and get an intimate perspective of Alcatraz and Angel Islands. We aim to immerse you in the full sailing experience, hence at a specific moment, you’ll be given the chance to steer and set your own course.. all part of a unique sailing adventure you won’t find elsewhere.. You will witness and can photograph breathtaking landscapes and might encounter close up some of the bay’s indigenous wildlife.
It’s our goal to offer you with a sailing adventure that surpasses ordinary sightseeing tours, and that promotes eco-friendly tourism principles.

Our meeting point is the Richardson Bay yacht harbor parking area. once all guests arrive they are escorted trough the security gates to the boat.

Why sail from SF when it's so much better from Sausalito? Interactive sailing, local history, views, great crew/boat! - This trip was everything we hoped for, and frankly more than expected at such a reasonable price. Great boat (ship? sorry, I'm not nautical), friendly captain and crew, who handled everything fabulously and also let my young daughter steer the boat while sailing for most of the time, which was incredible for her and so fun to see! Even water and snacks provided. Everything was a perfect blend of friendly, warm and casual but professional and experienced where it mattered (safety, navigation, etc). Cannot recommend too highly!

Fantastic Sailing Experience with Captain Will - I recently purchased an interactive sailing experience for my husband's birthday, and it turned out to be absolutely awesome! Will took us on an unforgettable journey, making the experience enjoyable and informative. My husband was thrilled to actively participate, making it more than just a typical sailing trip.

Perfect Day on the Water! - Sailing under the Golden Gate Bridge was definitely a bucket list activity and Sail SF Bay made the day unforgettable. The captain and crew were fantastic - regaling us with stories about sailing on the Bay. We saw dolphins and a seal and had a perfect day of sailing. When it was time to come back to the dock, no one wanted to leave. HIGHLY recommend this experience.

Interactive and informative fun sailing adventure with lovely scenery - We took both of our moms from out of state to show them the sights and have a fun day on the water. It was a really great experience as they were excited to see the sights but also to learn about the yacht and take a turn sailing it as well. We had the good fortune to also see some dolphins and a sea lion on our excursion. We were provided water bottles and chips for a snack and took tons of great photos.

Best Day Ever!!!!! - We were so impressed by this experience. The interactive part was amazing. This should be on everyone’s bucket list. We got the full experience on how to sail a sailboat. A Great Experience in the San Francisco Bay! - If you are visiting San Francisco or are local, you must experience sailing in the Bay aboard the Kindred Spirits. We had a memorable experience, accompanied by a bottle of wine and some hors-d’oeuvres we brought onboard. Such a different perspective to see this beautiful city and the surrounding areas, bridges and Alcatraz from the Bay.
