Lunch at Hard Rock - It was first visit to this particular Hard Rock Cafe, and I just walked in from the street for lunch with absolutely no waiting time.
I was shown to a great table between the bar and stage, and as usual enjoyed the food and drink on offer.
The service was swift, friendly and professional.
I received an $8 from the Unity loyalty scheme which I didn't expect, so that was a bonus.
I'd imagine at peak times due its location, the cafe can become very busy, so it's probably best to book in advance.

Family visit in July - Nice server, nice food, nice atmosphere. Very similar experience to what you’d get anywhere so if you know what you like it’s a good place to go.

Good food - My wife and I were in SFO for just a short weekend and I wanted to take her around to see the sights so we started with Pier 39. After walking around we went to the HRC just to get a snack and some beers. We sat ourselves at the bar and it was fairly slow for a Friday afternoon. We ordered a round and the chicken nachos. The bartender was friendly and the food was good (very large portion). It was weird how incredibly cold it was though. It was about 40F outside and they had their doors open so those of us at the bar were wearing hats and coats which was odd. There is a lot of memorabilia to see and they also have a nice gift shop - my wife got a hoodie (probably cause she was freezing).

A PLEASANT HARD ROCK SURPRISE - My wife and I ate at Pier 39 HARD ROCK after attending
THE LION KING with Sports Leisure Vacations from Sacramento.
The play was outstanding!
Due to some ambulatory problems, we went to HARD ROCK as it was the closest to where the bus let us off for post play supper.
Though quite noisy due to the continuous music, we found a very pleasant dining experience.
The staff were very courteous and prompt, our waiter CK was a great,efficient server with personality plus.
He was outstanding!
Though the food was typical pub food, it was prepared well and served hot with all the accompanying things needed to enjoy.
Though we had concerns about our dining choice, we left very impressed with our entire experience.
The manager stopped and talked about our meal, the service and was very concerned to be sure this meal was to our liking.
Our stop at the gift store led us to get a souvenir t-shirt for our grand daughter.
All and all, a very nice meal at a chain that really seemed to care about their customers!

Wow nachos, excellent burgers and nice atmosphere - Yummy food, large and well satisfying portions, great burgers and super-amazing nachos.
Great cocktails, great music, nice relaxing environment.
Very good quality price ratio. We felt service was hurried up from 1 hr before closure on a night with not many clients.
Nice Hard Rock Café shop too, also this closes sooner than the restaurant.

The normal hard rock experience but try the salmon - amazing! - Came here twice in the week were in San Fran as my teen daughter loves it. Sad to say it wasn't the best hard rock experience I have ever had but it was not terrible as well. The first time we came it took forever to get served even though it was not too busy. Asked for sauce which never came and had to ask again, waited ages to get servers attention so we could order more drinks. The fajitas were terrible but that could have been just a bad cut of meat.
The second time we came we had a better dining experience. Service was still very slow but slightly better when needing more drinks, it was also much quieter. I had the salmon which was amazing, I had to slow myself down from eating it so fast.
In summary, the normal hard rock experience and it was generally pretty good.

Very poor. - First Stella was flat. 2nd beer flat. Steak burger pink as in raw. Took it away. By the time one was cooked properly I had eaten my meal. Worst one we have been to. 7th post I have read about flat draught beer. The lines need cleaning.

Poor food & bone in the chicken! - We visited the Hard Rock Cafe at Fisherman's Wharf San Francisco and the food was poor, at best. The service was fine but the food was terrible. My "Messi Chicken Burger" was overcooked, tasted weird and inedible so I left it. Fries were fine. My wife had the chicken tenders which were ok until she bit into the last one and found quite a big bone. We informed the guy who served us who in turn and to his credit informed his boss who did offer to replace the meal but it was all but eaten by then so my wife was full so a refund offer would have been appreciated but this was not offered.

Rudely mocked by the bartender - We were rudely mocked by the bartender simply because our accents are different to his. I demanded he apologise (which he did, begrudgingly) and we left. A terrible experience because of one man’s ignorance. I’ve always been a fan of the HRC but sadly this experience of appalling and hurtful customer service has left me somewhat weary of drinking or eating at an HRC again.

Sorry but it was awfull - Pretty much the worst dining experience in SF.
My sprite was topped up with water and not replaced.
We never had any sauces of any sort
Main course came out when we were still having starters
So service was (sorry Joey - very poor)
The food; bland is the most polite term I could uae
