There is room for improvement and refinement of the experience to make it world class. - It is a nice place. The day we visited there was a school group which greatly encouraged the experience. And the chocolate part was too rushed. I DID NOT ENJOY OR FEEL WHAT THE PURPOSE OF THE 5 SENSES IS. Even so, 5 Stars because I am sure that the quality of their product is well worth it and they continue to develop the growth of local culture.

Delicioso/Delicious! - We did the Chocolate Lovers tour and got to see both the traditional and modern ways of making chocolate. The hacienda is beautiful, the people are wonderfully friendly, and the lunch they served us was just delicious. This was definitely worth the drive up from Santo Domingo.

Cocao to chocolate! - Such a fun and informative tour! All the employees worked hard to make sure that we had a great time. Even though it wasn’t harvest season, we were able see and understand how cacao becomes chocolate. The cacao forest was beautiful and we loved making our own chocolate, sampling as we went along. We also enjoyed seeing how cacao was produced in the past. Lunch was also delicious. I also felt very safe touring during covid. Precautions were strictly enforced. Thanks for a wonderful visit!

Super cool place - We loved the experience. From the cacao plantation to the chocolate production, the music and the experience overall was amazing. We recommend this trip to all chocolate enthusiast and chocolate lovers, even to the ones that just like nature and science or the locals that want to see the beautiful richness of the land. The service was spectacular, the staff was super knowledgeable and the place was great. We saw the cacao plantation, the fruits, we tasted the cacao bean pulp and the raw cacao, we smashed toasted beans and produced our own old school chocolate and a more sofisticases chocolate bar. It was great...the shop is awesome too. I got a huge 82% chocolate bar, organic and delicious...can’t wait to bring back to the US to share with friends.
