Great time with Grady! - Wow! What a great day! I had Grady as my driver and he was the BEST! Such a sweet man! It was just me on the tour and he showed me around so well and was so friendly. The wineries were good that we went to my personal fave was Sutter Home. I would recommend this tour!

I can totally recommend this tour! - My sister and I went for this tour, because we wanted to go to Napa Valley and taste some Wine but avoid driving ourselves. The tour was well-organized we were a small group and the driver was really friendly. He shared some information about the city as well. Some wineries were better than others. I enjoyed that we could explore the surroundings and take lots of pictures.

Very friendly tour guide, the bus on had no windows to open or air con - Going to the wine farms, and tasting the different wines. Madonna the first vineyard we stopped at was the best by far when it came to the wines and the service, the other wine farm was very nice to look at but the wines were not very good

Such a beautiful region... - Such a beautiful region to explore, we had a great guide who really brought it to life for us and helped to make it a very enjoyable trip. We visited a great selection of wineries and thoroughly enjoyed it, some nice stops for photo opportunities and a good lunch stop in Sonoma. Would highly recommend. Thank you.

Disappointed/Not Impressed with the Wineries - This was our first time to Sonoma & Napa, and I hate to say it, but we were so disappointed. This is wine country!!! And you gave us 3 disappointing wineries. We spent a lot of money for this tour and those wine tours did not make it worth it. If you are booking this tour, I would reconsider based on these 3 wineries. The tour operation was good as far as service and comfort. All went smooth with the meeting location & departure was on time. The bus was warm (on a rainy, overcast, cold morning) and very comfortable. We only had 6 total in our group. Our driver did a great job. The weather was not nice that day. But we still made stops at the Golden Gate Bridge and the Palace of Fine Arts. We had time to take pictures. Those were lovely locations, but overcast pics based on the weather. That is not the tour's fault. Our driver gave us lots of information on the drive. We reached our 1st winery at Madonna Estates. We were drinking wine at 10:30 am on empty stomachs. Our choice of course but it was an early morning meet up time. Madonna Estates had nothing to "see". We went down to the barrel room (really the only place to get a nice pic). We had their Pinot Grigio which was actually excellent. That would have to be their best wine. We then went to the tasting room. There are no chairs. You stand at the counter. I would say we got a wine server who was VERY generous with letting us taste SO much. He opened so many bottles for us to try. That was a generous "tasting". He was informative and passionate about their wine. They have lots of merchandise to buy as well. But that is it. There was no tour of the property or outside Vinyards. There is no "view". I would love for these wineries to serve some crackers or cheese to compliment the tastings. I wish I would have brought my own for 10:30 am!! After that, you get back on the bus to Sonoma Plaza. The weather is still bad so when we arrived, we went straight to a restaurant. It started raining hard, so we stayed at the restaurant the entire break. Unfortunately, we did not get to shop or walk around the plaza. The weather restricted that. No pics there either. We found a Mexican restaurant and had lunch and got drunk on some strong margaritas. Yep, nothing else to do as we watched it rain. The rain let up just as it was time to walk to the bus. Now I was feeling good after some margaritas and our small group had loosened up. The driver let me be in charge of the music. So, we had fun singing to fun pop songs on the bus. Next stop was Sutter Home where the Zinfandel is made. Please take this off your list---the wine tastings were ALL terrible. I love a white zin from Berringer, but Sutter Home is bottom shelf grocery level. The wine server was NOT generous at all with the tastings. You got exactly what she poured from the list and nothing more or different. The shop is cute and pricey. Once again, no vineyards. But they have an outside yard and orange trees for some pics. There is an inn (no longer in use at this time) and a house there but no access for the public. Fortunately, the weather was lifting, and we were able to take pics outside. We were ready to leave this place pretty quickly. The last stop was Ru Vango. Finally, we arrived at a winery with a vineyard and a porch with views!!! The sun was coming out and we were able to get some lovely pics. This place is very modern with a contemporary/art vibe. There was plenty of space and we had freedom to walk around. We were not shown the property or any other wine making rooms. The wine server was accommodating with our tastings and helping us find something we liked. They have more red blends. My husband was so disappointed to come to California and not go to a winery with a great Cabernet Sauvignon. However, he bought the red blend that he thought was pretty good and our wine server was giving us good service. We asked for cups, and we opened the bottle on the bus and shared with our tour group. Now the music was playing loud as we drank, danced and sang on the bus all the way back. So, we made the tour fun with our driver and group! We did not have a bad day or experience overall. However, the tour was about wineries in Sonoma and Napa, and these are just NOT the ones to visit. I would say to keep Ru Vango but you have to take off the 1st two.

A wine tour to be missed - A tour to be missed! As a first timer to San Fransico, the main highlights would be to see 'the bridge' and a wine tour. Agreed! Don't waste your money on this tour! The wineries visited gave an impression of poor wines from California whereas there are spectacular wines available from this area in the bottle shop. The tour guide/bus driver was informative to start but the return trip was super fast without a word being said by the guide - or by the tourists who were hanging on to their seats!
