Very informative - I've given this a five and this would have been for the driver/guide alone! He was a lot of fun and knew his stuff! Not about the wine tour exactly, but for his knowledge of the area, I think his name was James. We visited two wineries, first was the Madonna - who grew grapes organically. This was a more professional presentation and a small family concern by some standards. We had about four samples of wine and it was very nice. Second was the Ru Vango vineyard. Again we sampled four wines and this was a larger business, but not so much of a presentation as the former. The two hosts were really friendly and there was no pressure to buy! The ambience and so relaxing in the terrace A lovely couple of hours and the drive into Napa is lovely

Don't drink and drive. Take a bus! - Loved the stories of how the wineries started. All about families. Highly recommend a visit to Napa. Our driver Steve was great.

1/2 day wine experience - This was a great wine tasting experience. Our driver/ guide was very knowledgeable and made the trip extra special. He even dropped us off at the cruise ship when it ended. If you are looking for a half day trip to wine country this is a perfect choice.

Local Wineries were a treat. - Going to small family wineries from the area that do not sell outside the USA was special. Marscadini winery was extra special as we sat in their grounds outside while tasting and learning from the hosts. Would definitely go back and taste more special wines in a special area.

4 hours of driving, 2 hours of wine - Six hours for two stops seemed fine. Six hours, only two of which are actually spent at a winery is ridiculous. The driver was difficult to understand and a terrible driver. We both got carsick. Some factoids he threw out on the drive were somewhat interesting. The music between informational segments was so loud we could barely hear each other talk. (It’s not a party bus). The 1st stop, the “tour” was basically a how to make wine while we’re standing in the room of barrels. We didn’t see much of anything else. The wines were varied, probably something for every taste, which is a good call. For the most part, the first stop was pretty boring, though the wine selection was good for people who enjoy California wines. The second stop, an Italian-style winery, is the only reason the tour is getting an additional star. The stop itself gets 5 stars. A cheeseboard was available for an additional cost, and it was well worth it. Delicious! The guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and pleasant. She was able to pinpoint my tastes as well as my husband’s and give us advice on how to move forward with discovering new ones we enjoy. If we were to do it again, I’d save myself $100 and 3 hours and just go to Muscardini.

A Visit to Napa - It was a beautiful drive and the first winery where we went was a great experience. The host provided a lot of good information on the wine making process. However, the second winery was not as good. And it would have been a better experience if we had stopped at the Golden Gate Bridge and/or Sausalito for a quick picture. Both wineries were far from each other. If the tour company had selected wineries near each other, they could have stoped at one or both of those attractions. I felt the advertisement was a little misleading.

contract agreement not honoured - Our tour guide James never stopped talking about the traffic as soon as we got on the bus and many many unrelated subjects that had nothing to do with Friscos history The bathroom was not working and the heat was on James did not know how to fix it so very little comfort. Someone finally asked him to stop talking and put on some quite music he said he had no music the speakers were not clear so it was just constant noise. No wine tours just the tasting so our contract wasn,t even fulfilled I was so hot and stressed after this tour where there was no escape Was in Frisco for 3 days from Vancouver to celebrate a 50th birthday with my daughters was just so disapointing to have wasted one of those days. I paid forluxury coach wine tour and tasting so the contract we made was not fulfilled
