The journey begins amidst the towering beauty of Armstrong Redwoods State Natural Reserve, where you can marvel at trees reaching heights of 300 feet. This unique opportunity allows you to witness longevity in the form of trees that are 1500 years old. We deliberately avoid the much-trafficked Muir Woods, preferring to give our guests a more peaceful experience in the majesty of the Redwoods at Armstrong Woods, a place with taller and older trees and fewer visitors.
Following this, we proceed to the Kendall-Jackson winery and culinary garden, a thriving hub of the farm-to-table movement. We explore the gardens which are responsible for supplying vegetables to some of California’s top restaurants.
After admiring the culinary garden’s prolific produce, Kendall Jackson’s renowned chefs will serve a four-course lunch, complete with pairings from the best wines of the winery. The menu varies seasonally, reflecting the freshest produce available from the garden.
