The gathering will take place in the heart of Old Town San Diego at the wildly popular Rockin’ Baja Lobster, a quintessential Mexican eatery. Here, we’ll enjoy our first sip of tequila along with crunchy chips dipped in a variety of salsas!
Our following destination takes us high up to the Old Town Tequila Factory. There, we’ll try another tequila shot and savor a tasty fish taco on the rooftop terrace offering a picturesque panorama of Downtown San Diego and the stunning San Diego Harbor – an ideal background for selfie enthusiasts!
As we progress, we’ll acquire knowledge about the Whaley House, early California, grave sites, historical markers, and more intriguing Old Town facts that we encounter on our path to our last stop.
Last but not least, the final destination is El Agave, a notable restaurant, bar and tequila museum. Not just any tequileria, El Agave boasts a selection of over 2,000 tequilas. In this fine dining venue, each participant will get their very own tequila flight, highly recommended by the bar staff, putting a grand finale to our tour!

New tequilas and new restaurants. Win-win! - Had a great time trying new restaurants and tequilas. Nate was both extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the history of and different types of tequila. Five stars easy, would DEFINITELY recommend!

Great tour to learn about tequila and old town - Fun and informative. Nate took his time and even helped us celebrate a birthday! He even recommended a great restaurant that we ate at that evening after the tour.

Amazing tequila tour experience - I am so glad that I went ahead with this tour with Nate again, I had such an incredible, memorable time on this adventure in the delightful city of San Diego. To say that Nate was educated and informed about tequila and all the aspects involved with it would be an understatement. Nate was helpful and polite the entire time, a really polite dude with a very welcoming demeanor. I was able to learn and gain so much awareness of this beverage and am grateful for that. The entire experience was so much fun and so enjoyable as well with the beautiful views and scenery. Even the food at the restaurant we went to was absolutely delectable at the Tequila Factory, and the whole staff was so nice and professional. I know there are a lot of activities to do in San Diego, including a lot of other great tours, but go ahead and book this now and add this to your 'to-do' list while here, you will be happy you did. I wasn't exactly the biggest tequila drinker beforehand, but I wanted to try something different and this was such a one of a kind and amusing experience that I now am going to be ordering it much more often. Just realizing the quirks of how it is made and all the different types and ways it is prepared was mind-boggling and informative. Learning about all the great culture and history of Old Town SD was also such a memorable aspect of it all. Make sure to be camera-ready since you'll definitely have a whole bunch of terrific pictures to share with your family and friends as Nate has some photography skills. The pace of the tour is perfect, not too fast or slow, so you get to take it all in and truly enjoy what's going on along with the others in the group. Going on this solo or in a group would be perfect either way due to how it is arranged, you'll enjoy it regardless. Nate was very patient with all the questions and various random statements as I was trying to get myself acquainted, he went way above and beyond anything required to provide an absolutely incredible event. We had a warm welcome at each location as Nate was on great terms with everyone at these establishments, which in turn made the visits have a totally relaxed vibe. After the tour he took the time to provide a very helpful breakdown of where we went and the drinks we tried, it was so useful but I don't want to divulge too much since I'm sure it is best to experience everything first hand. The fact that this is a walking tour makes it even better, so you can keep an active pace and obviously call an Uber/Lyft as needed. I was trying to think of anything that could be improved, or that went wrong, or that I disliked in any way and literally couldn't come up with one single thing to put here... Everything was exceptional, I had an unbelievably enjoyable time, Nate is one of the most courteous and friendly people I've ever met, and I give his tour a perfect five stars across the board on all counts and agree with all the others below with their positive reviews on this experience.

SHOTS - Nate really knows TEQUILA! Also hearing about how different tequilas are made AND tasting shots of the different brands... 6 shots! The restaurants get involved in talking about their tequila as well. Also some delicious Mexican food. Some walking and talking about Old Town history.
