Embark on a GPS-guided scooter journey through the diverse cultures of San Diego, commencing in Little Italy. Here, you’ll discover the rise and fall of the city’s Italian community. The tour continues past the Maritime History Museum, the USS Midway, and into the picturesque Seaport Village. You’ll also ride past Horton Plaza, a location you’ll surely want to revisit post-tour. From Horton Plaza, you’ll delve into the heart of San Diego, circling around the San Diego Padres’ home ground, and head into the Historical Gaslamp Quarter. Since its recent revamp, it’s become a lot more family-friendly. As the tour leaves Gaslamp Quarter, you enter Banker’s Hill, known for its unique shops. It also neighbors the always scenic Balboa Park.
- This is a private tour/activity. Only your group will participate
- Min weight 100lbs, max. 375lbs
- Each rider will be charged a 150.00 incidental deposit fee. This will not be charged to your card but an authorization to hold will be placed on the card.
- All renters must be able to read, understand and sign a liability release and waiver form.
- The minimum rider age is 15. If under the age of 18 the rider must be accompanied by an adult. Must possess a major credit card and photo ID.

Excellent tour and experience - Excellent and out of the box experience: very well designed and guided !
Both my wife and myself enjoyed the experience and would definitely repeat it and take the longer trail.

A fun self guided tour of San Diego - The staff was great, sorry don't recall his name. I do recall he said he worked there for five years. He really seemed to know what he was doing. Told us all about the route and what to expect from it. Showed us how to work the go cars. He was even patient with me when I had to turn back to the store after the first stop of the tour due the tablet didn't work right with the audio and gps. He brought a new tablet out and had me back out and running in a few minutes.
Very friendly guy and the go car was fun especially with me all dressed up in a Mario costume. A few drivers snuck a picture of me as they passed. They had a few costumes to choose from. My kid chose Pikachu from pokemon. My wife declined to dress up, but she still had a blast. We all did. Highly recommend giving go car a try when you in the area.

Great day and good value - Loved the experience. We took the one-hour tour. The GPS navigates you through the streets of San Diego visiting the waterfront, Gaslamp Quarter, Little Italy and back to Old Town. Fun facts are supplied, along with a joke or two. Much fun, would definitely recommend it.

Great for mom and son adventure! - My 9-year-old son and I had a great time! I was nervous about driving on the streets, but the GPS and audio made it simple, and other cars were kind to our little GoCar.

Great fun! - Super fun! Not a lot of time to stop and take pictures in order to return it in time. There was a lot of traffic when we visited. The staff were super friendly and helpful.

Fun, exciting experience to see the city - Had an awesome time driving around the city. We didn't go on any fast roads so we never felt unsafe. It was very convenient being able to stop at a couple places and take pictures (and it was easy to pull over and stop given how small the car is).
And the car is surprisingly fast. On city streets, it basically keeps up the pace with every other car.
If I wanted to show somebody around San Diego, I would highly recommend this excursion. My wife and I loved it.

Fun ride - Our family rented 4 'cars' to go on a short tour of San Diego. We had a wonderful time in the open air driving the 'cars'. The cars worked well, but the road we took was pretty bumpy. But the kids had a really fun time in the open air. Well worth the effort!
