Additional Information
Embark on a thrilling journey with your skipper on our sailing yacht and take in the breathtaking sights of San Diego, as we start our venture from the Sunroad Resort Marina on Harbor Island. As we glide through the waters of San Diego Bay, we often encounter playful Sea Lions and sometimes even Dolphins, making our trip all the more exciting! On board, we offer complimentary white wine, soda, water and snacks.
If you’re looking to have a private sail with just your buddies, don’t hesitate to reserve all 6 seats.
Should you not find a suitable date on our schedule, get in touch! We set sail every day and will most likely be able to adjust to your preference!
Please note: We do not allow smoking on board.
- Minimum drinking age is 21 years
- Children must be accompanied by an adult
- Each person regardless of age MUST have a paid ticket due to strict Coast Guard regulations. Extra person’s regardless of age that arrive and put us over our passenger limit will be denied boarding.
- Be sure to follow the link under “Special Instructions” on your Viator ticket after booking for a detailed map, photos, directions & video of our meeting point.
- Refunds will not be issued if tour/activity is missed due to late or non-arrival of cruise ship or flight

Arrive 20 minutes early so you have time to find the gate. We are unable to hold the boat if your running late.

Nick was an excellent captain. We loved it! - Nick was an exceptional skipper. He actually sailed the boat, not just motored around the harbor like other boats. He was polite, had yummy refreshments and was exceedingly knowledgeable about the harbor and what we were seeing. His boat was in excellent condition, better than our own! We were very impressed!

Highlight of our trip! - The trip was amazing & Captain Nick was awesome! He was very informative about the area, the naval ships we passed, & he kept our wine glasses full. It was a beautiful afternoon and a highlight of our trip. Price was reasonable. Book this excursion!!

A great way to view San Diego! - This sailboat ride in the harbor was a great way to see San Diego. My husband and I were visiting our family, which includes our two grandchildren, ages 7 and 4, and who love boat rides! Captain Stu was very welcoming and did a great job of communicating the safety rules for the trip. He was very knowledgeable and pointed out numerous sites of interest! We all thoroughly enjoyed the day!

Capt Bree was awesome! - We had an amazing experience sailing on San Diego Bay! We had wine, sodas and water provided with the awesome Capt. Bree and a relaxing afternoon touring the bay, saying hello to seals and taking in the sun. Highly recommended!

A great alternative to larger tour boats - The tour was about right adventure to see the harbor and to get some sense of sailing. Good boat, vety nice captain with a solid skill set of operating the boat. I will do this again next time we are in SD.

Great but you may have company. - Great time with knowledgeable captain. Wish we had known in advance that the cruise would be shared with another group. There were two women also in attendance, pretty anti-social, who only wanted to do selfies on the deck. No interest in sailing or in the sights being pointed out. But the cruise itself was great and again the captain was very engaged and a nice person.
