Do yourself the favor and book! - Noah was an amazing guide and this was a phenomenal experience. All of the history and information you get in addition to the delicious food makes this experience a steal. I have taken food tours in the states and abroad so I feel comfortable saying this is definitely worth booking if you are looking for a great way to explore San Diego’s gas lamp area.

Generous portions, good variety, Aja excellent guide - Nice variety, generous portions, appreciate sitting in comfortable area for eats. Aja was a fantastic guide, we’ve done more than a dozen food tours and Aja was one of the best. You can purchase drinks separately at about half of the venues. All the food was delicious and appreciated full portions. Note if new to food tours: not all food tours organize seating for you ahead of time, but this food tour did have a seat for you at all but last stop, which was the Cali Creamery that did have seating outside. Absolutely recommend this tour with Aja as guide

Nice lunchtime tour - This was a nice break for lunch at the convention I attended in San Diego. The Gaslamp area was close to my hotel and I learned a lot about the area, ate good food and enjoyed the tour. Recommend!

Fun way to spend half a day! - Do not eat breakfast before the tour! The food was enough to cover breakfast and lunch. Excellent cuisine and Noah did a great job teaching us about the city and showing us some sites. He also did a great job making recommendations for other fun activities to try and restaurants to visit.

Great tour leader and restaurant choices - Great tour leader and great food. Asa did a great job at explaining San Diego history, architecture, and culture. I loved her style - not overly dramatic or sarcastic as so many tour guides - just down to earth, genuine, and kind. Restaurant choices were all interesting places we would not have discovered on our own. All stops were well organized and efficient. Plenty of food. Very pleased with our experience.

Great guide, overpriced for food you receive. - It was a pleasant experience. Jeremy was a friendly and knowledgeable guide. I felt it was a bit overpriced. The tour information mentions 5 food stops. Thats a bit of a stretch, since the first stop was a quarter of two bagels and 2 different cream cheese spreads and the last stop was a scoop of ice cream. The 3 stops in the middle were excellent; an empanada at the Cuban restaurant , a taco at the Mexican restaurant (3 types to choose from) and a Thai restaurant with small plate samples of potstickers, eggrolls and a shrimp salad. But for that the cost should be closer to $49 per person rather than $89.
