On this intimate excursion limited to six people, participants will have a vibrant, music-filled electric bike trip along Coronado’s most scenic seaside cycling paths, picturesque photo spots, and historically significant areas.
Taking inspiration from California’s surf culture and their iconic wooden wagons, Fat Woody Beach Cruisers offers bespoke hand-built e-bikes. If you’re in search of a unique and unforgettable SoCal experience, don’t miss out on this chance to ride one of these distinctive beach cruisers!
Riders need to have ‘proficient experience’ in cycling and must be at least 21 years old, with exceptions for those aged 13+, provided they are accompanied by a parent. Guests wishing to ride Fat Woody beach cruisers should be able to touch the ground with both feet (roughly 5’2” and taller). Since the bikes weigh over 90lbs, they may pose a challenge for some due to their weight. Nevertheless, mini-ebikes are available for our smaller guests (please call to ensure one is reserved for you). It’ll still be loads of fun!
Everyone participating must accept the FWBC Terms and Conditions / Liability Waiver.
- 21+ years old, 13+ (recommended) with parent.
- Rider’s recommended to be 5’2” and taller to ride beach cruisers. Smaller e-bikes available for shorter riders.
- Experienced Riding Skills: Riders must have ‘experienced proficiency’ in bicycle riding skills - Defined as those who ride bicycles regularly. Not recommended for novice riders or those who haven’t ridden in years.

We meet Tidelands Park, right on the waterfront! Just look for the colorful cruisers. Please arrive 10 minutes before your tour to provide I.D. and sign our waiver. All riders MUST have a proficiency in bicycle riding skills. Fat Woody e-Bikes are not recommended for beginner level riders.

There's No Better Way to See Coronado - What a delightful experience. Ken has crafted every element of this enjoyable tour around the highlights of Coronado. He even crafted the bikes, which are high quality e-bikes engineered for a leisurely, no-effort jaunt around the island. The bikes include a sound system and built-in holders for your glasses, sunscreen and water. The handlebar grips and seat are custom leather. You will be admired as doing something really cool as you pass by the crowds on your tour. As for the tour itself, we enjoyed seeing the sites, learning about the history and getting the inside scoop on the Navy ships and research vessels passing by. We're already telling family and friends to come join us next time.

Celebrities! - The tour was great! Ken is so knowledgeable and made learning the history of Coronado Island fun and interesting. The bikes are beautiful and perfect for all ages and skills. We felt like celebrities on the island!

Amazing and worthwhile adventure! - Best part of our trip to Coronado! It was a relaxing, fun, easy ride and Ken is a charismatic gentleman with a lot of history to share from the area. Saw so many neat places! And of course, the bikes are the COOLEST!

Worth the money and the time😀 - Ken provided a first-rate experience with his fat woody e-bikes. He provided us with a bottle of water and helmets. Since my height doesn’t work well with his custom bikes, he does have e-bikes that cater to the more petite crowd. My husband and I were fortunate enough to get a tour to ourselves. He led us around Coronado, showing us interesting landmarks and points of historical significance. He even has more historical info on his website if you’d like to dig deeper into what you’ve learned. He volunteered to take several sets of pictures of my husband and I for momentos. We spent four days in the San Diego area and this tour was the highlight of our trip. We would definitely recommend it!

Bike fun! - It was great! Enjoyed riding the bikes. Where long light weight sleeves to avoid sun burn. We had such a great time and he experience was wonderful. Very easy to ride and requires little edfort

Ken and the bikes are A++++ - The best bike tour in the world. Ken is absolutely phenomenal and his attention to detail is unparalleled. The bikes are the talk of the town and the vibes are impeccable. I will be returning ASAP as you can't just do this trip once.
