- David Alan Collection - We will make our first stop on the tour at the David Alan Collection, which holds San Diego’s largest selection of custom wood slab tables, reclaimed wood furniture, petrified wood, modern furniture, & rare art & artifacts, mostly from South East Asia. We will get a mini presentation from their staff (or David Alan himself!) about their shop, history, and why they do what they do. With three levels, this is a must-see for everyone during and after the tour.

The tour offers you an insight into Solana Beach’s rich past; from relics such as quonset huts that take us back to the era of WWII, to the diverse collection of shops and galleries we encounter during the tour. Our goal is to help you gain a fresh perspective towards everything artistic along our trail.

Moreover, we can custom-design the tour based on your group’s preferences. If you’re not a fan of gelato or coffee, we have an alternative of grabbing a beer at Pizza Port or Culture Brewing after the tour!
